Her son has been suicideal!

I have a friend at work who was gone 2 days from work because her son was talking about suicide! The son refused to go to the hospital and believs counseling wouldn't help! Anyway my friends son gets meds from a doctor for depression and for being bi-polar. He thinks that just changing his meds will make him better! My friend is beside herself! She wanted to go to the hospital! She wants him go to counseling! I know you can't make a person do those things! It is not a good situation and hope things get better!
