70% of our body is consist of water. We sweat everyday for doing our daily activities. How do you replace the loss water in your body? Are you the eight glass of water a day fan? or do you drink something that soothes your taste? Do you prefer drinking soda or juice over water? My father loves drinking coffee and he seldom drinks water. He takes four to seven cups of caffeine everyday, that's just the coffee not including the soda.

THere is a reason behind that. One of my relatives have seen my hand and he told me that in my old age, I will be facing problem with my kidney, hence I have started drinking that much of water every day!

My mom keeps saying that whenever she sees me drinking sodas and not really drinking enough water daily. Somehow I'm making it a habit to drink more water day by day and stop drinking sodas frequently

Hi hex! I always drink water. I sometimes drink sodas and juices but I rarely drink coffee. I always have a bottle of mineral water everytime I go to work. I practice to drink lots of water and avoid drinking much of that sodas and other beverages. I'm watching my calorie intake for we all know water has zero calorie.:) It replenish my body more than any other kinds of beverages.

Water has different content when it comes from different sources so we cannot really say that water is chemical free.

I drink water more than any other liquid. Though, I can't say that I complete the minimum daily requirement of 8glasses a day. My doctor always tell me that I should drink MOOOOORE water, juice or tea and cut off the sodas due to it's sugar content that may lead me from having diabetes when I got old. She did not tell me anything about coffee so I think it's safe for me to drink coffee everytime that I have to stay awake 'til morning. As the commercial of distilled drinnking water keeps on saying: "THINK GIRL!" :))

I drink water, nothing but water. It's always min of 2 litres a day for me & I feel great doing it. I feel less thirsty than I normally did. I used to drink coffee & soda, but then I put on alot of weight doing that...so water it is. My husband drinks nothing but juice & he put on alot more weight by doing that as it's nothing but sugar.

I prefer water. I don't keep soda at home so I rarely drink it. I do drink coffee or milk quite often. Drinking juices are not frequent but at least 3-5 times a month.

Hi Hezeduser, I love to drink fruit juice and water. I seldom go for cofee. Sometimes I will go for a tea durin my snack time. As for soda drink, I try to limit it up. Not good for health.Once a while drink softdrink is Ok,but not always. I love anykind of fruit juice. Mango and Orange juice is my favourite. Sometimes, I will cook herbal tea during hot season,it is good to bring down our body heat. My son love to drink herbal tea too.

Thank you for adding that additional information about herbal tea. I never knew it could lower our body temperature. Are all herbal teas like that or are there just certain types of it. I know this was five months ago but I'm still looking forward for your answer

ya most of the people prefer beverages instead of water .i also prefer drinking tea maost of times that makes me energetic but i think these things cant take place of water so we should drink at least 2-3ltrs of water everyday for ongoing losses

They say tea is not good if you have an empty stomach. Can you share your tea experience, if you don't mind?

I regularly drink water and green tea, these are healthy compared to other beverages. I always love green tea it contains good amount of antioxidants that both anti-inflammatory and reduced the rapid process of premature aging.

By green tea...are you referring to commercially sold green teas or the natural one? I think the commercially sold green tea is somewhat different with the green tea extracted manually from nature

Gatorade is a healthy colorful drink but it cannot really substitute the goodness of drinking water

I had become addicted to soda for quite some time. I think I came to a point wherein I drank it just like I drank water. I came to a realization that it was not doing me any good. I felt bloated and I could not sleep at night. I had to make a decision to cut down on drinking soda. Now, I drink more water. As soon as I wake up, I drank water. I try to consume at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.

I must agree that sodas really affects our sleep. I think that is mainly because of the caffeine content of sodas just like the coffee's effect

That's good to hear that your body is normal now than it was before. If you can describe what abnormality you found upon drinking sodas when you were young so as to provide an awareness in this discussion

i had been a softdrinks drinker in the past. because of some medical concerns, i was advised against doing it. i take a cup of coffee in the morning and no other cup till i sleep at night. i drink water to quench my thirst and i try to drink as much as 8 which we are always advised. but when i am out in restaurants, i am always tempted to drink softdrinks.

I agree drinking too much soda is really bad, it hurts your kidneys. I also agree that sodas are very tempting to drink:)

I try to drink several glasses of ice water each day. Sometimes water just doesn't do the trick though. Then I find myself craving Dr. Pepper or Coca Cola. Apple or orange juice follows behind that. I'm not much for either coffee or tea.

There is no Dr. Pepper here in my country...I guess it's a kind of soda right? I'm curious on that one...I don't think it's full of peppers either
