Are you comfortable if your girlfriend taller than you?

Hey guys, do you feel comfortable if your girlfriend taller than you? I mean, imagine it, when both of you walking down the street, your girlfriend is taller than you, and how it gonna make you feel? Doesn't it make you a little bit uncomfortable? Especially, girls love to wear high heel, that make them a lot taller it seems.

Okay I'm not a guy BUT I am a tall girl and I can tell you sometimes I'm uncomfortable around guys because of my height. Well, I shouldnt say it like that not JUST guys but people in general. I'm the tallest girl in my family by far so I always feel out of place and like I stick out in family photos and social settings. I love being taller but sometimes its like okay enough is enough. If I wear heels then its just too much. I'm only 5'9 but in heels I can easily hit 6ft. So I honestly tend to go for taller guys BUT I do have a lot of other female friends who just love shorter guys. They feel hotter around them. Like they are showing off the guy instead of the guy showing off them. To all his own I guess.

Wow, I never thought about taller girls have such psycholgical way of thought about shorter guy. I knew most guys like model type of girls, slim and tall. But if guys are shorter, they might feel uncomfortable to be around taller girl. Because they felt like they are embarrassed in their height.

Well i am a girl taller than my boyfriend, it sucks cause i mean idk i dont have many friends cause i am tall. I just wish i could grow short and not have to be made fun of, cause now my boy wont even talk to me much anymore but i have a feeling he does that cause of my height. :(

Don't make a big deal about it and she won't either. I am a tall girl, and I have dated guys that are shorter than me. I don't have a problem with it so long as they don't. The only thing that sucked about dating short guys is that you can't wear high heals for fear of hurting their ego. So yeah, you should compliment a pair of really hot heals that she wears just so she doesn't feel bad about wearing them around you. You should ask her out though. She might say no, but you have more to gain than to lose. Good luck! :-)

Love is blind. It has no conditions or boundaries. If your girlfriend is taller than you it's okay it should not affect you or your relationship. People will always find something is wrong with someone anyway because that's the nature of life.

i have a girlfriend now that is taller than me. well, i don't feel uncomfortable with her. i think comfort with someone is not dependent on height. it is about the synergy and bonding between two people that can define comfort. i have been with taller girls. and i never consider their height as one of the criteria for being my girlfriend. it is their personality, disposition and outlook in life.

I never feel it comfortable 'cause I am already above 6 and if my girl friend is above me, how can that be?
will really be a funny one. I too don't want my girl to be too short. But need to be in a normal height when compared with me. As you said most of the girls wear heals to be taller but it is good to go with a man like me...

I'm not a guy but I was married to one for 40 years-LOL-My husband was a bit shorter than me but it never bothered either of us.We loved and respected each other and the height difference was only maybe an inch.I wore heels and he loved it.I asked him once if it embarressed him that I was about 3-4 inches taller than he was when I wore heels.He said no,he liked to see me"dressed up" as he called it
and we always had fun wherever we went.He said he felt special because I could have been with someone tall but chose to be with him.
When you love and respect someone,it's no matter how tall or short they are.

I've never had a girlfriend, but I do hate it if my Boyfriend is shorter than me since I'm short myself and I actually did have that happen to me once. He was half and inch shorter than me but i usually wear heels to church and it was uncomfortable walking with him since he'd want to hold my hand but it was awkward for me to try and reach it. So i felt very self conscience. He loved it though. Guess it was one of the reasons that it didn't work out.
