Absolutely! God is good! He blessed us with a creation that is so overwhelming. The state of man's current predicaments such as the discrepancy between the rich and the poor, the flesh trade, the global warming, the hunger in Africa and even in the slums in various cities of the world, et al, are brought upon himself by man alone. God allows us to exercise our will and look what we've done. Sigh! But like what you said, God is good all the time.

I agree with citychic. We tend to look on current issues and problems in this world rather than focus on what God is already doing not broadcast in daily news and not in the limelight like what you have said. God is good eventhough we have so many problems in this world and His Son's sacrifice is enough to meditate on His goodness and share it with others who have yet to know His unconditional love.

Hello msfrancisc, I am so blessed by your presence and your testimony this evening. I love what you had to say about your trust God even through the trials. You have the faith of Job in the bible, as he was willing to trust God no matter what. I'm right there with you on that same page my friend. It's easy to trust God when everything is going all good for us. But then once the trials come along. Most of us want to run and duck. But during our running, let us run for the hills from which comes our faith. Remember that as long as we are leaning and trusting in him no good thing will God withhold from those that try to live rightly. Happy mylot and I hope you will continue to mylot. PS: Please add me as a friend if you will? Thanks and you be blessed and have a wonderful week.

Yes, God is good all the time - but even more, God is PERFECT all the time. There can be nothing other than absolute perfection in God. This concept actually caused me concern before I knew God. I knew that I was totally evil and that no one would ever want me. I had been told that every day for all of my life. I didn't know whether or not there was a God, but I knew that IF there was a God, He would have to be perfect. That was a problem, because if God was perfect, how could He possibly love someone like me? A perfect God couldn't have anything to do with me. At 22 years of age, God revealed Himself to me. I heard the Gospel for the first time and I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour. For the last 51 years, He has been everything to me and I delight in His goodness moment by moment every day. Yes, God is PERFECT.

Thanks Citychick. I have known, loved and served my loving heavenly Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, for 51 of my 73 years. He has been my constant Companion, my Guide, my Counsellor, my Enabler, my Provider, my EVERYTHING.

Thanks for your comment Cloudwatcher, I appreciate it very much. Do you know that there have been so many of us that have struggled with the issue simply because so many of us didn't have the opportunity to grow up in christian loving families. So we wonder how could there be a God who love us all? Well that is pretty much the way that I grew up but then we have to study the word of God for ourselves. In order to get to know who and what God is. As the bible tell us that we should study to show ourselves approved and a workman that studies needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. So in my conclusion to it all. God is perfect but the rest of us are just human. We have a long ways to go before we will ever be perfect. Many times we fail even though we are trying to do what is right and good in God's sight. So that is where his grace comes in at to cover us and to cleanse us, from all unrighteousness. When you heard the gospel at 22 years of age, I'm sure that it was enough. It's only the gospel that can change our hearts and our wrong thinking. I'm so happy that you found the truth out for yourself and your life is a living testimony of God's goodness and his grace. Stay encouraged because God will never leave you nor forsake you. Have a great evening.

Eh, I'm a tad of a newbie, yes. I've been on here for about a year or so -- I just don't myLot much. Most of the religion discussions I've had were on YouTube, so I'm kind of out of that phase. It's interesting to hear what I consider the irrationalities of Christians, since it all pretty much leads back to to having faith: there ain't no evidence for God. Mostly, I'm a tad scared of the response I'd get from the Christian community that seems to be on here - I don't want to lose money from a diluted rating from angry Christians! XD

Hello Chic, I have one word for you. "AMEN"! God is good all the time and all the time God is good. A lot of times we pray for things and just because He doesn't give it to us when we want it, we go around thinking He forgot us. But what we forget is that everything is on His time and His watch. :) I have Faith, and I thank God for picking me as His child and I feel blessed every day, no matter what comes my way. Good or bad. I know he always takes care of me. He hasn't failled me yet, and He never will... "It's our job to pray, It's God's job to answer. TRUST HIM TO DO HIS JOB" "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know"......JEREMIAH 33:3 NKJV... Happy MyLotting and God Bless mylot and every member on here. Olivia~

Hello SurveyPrincess, thank you so much for stopping by. That was such a sweet prayer and that you gave at the end of your comment. I'm so happy that you are here. You spoke nothing but true words all throughout your comments as I've had some of the same thing to happen to me at times. A few times when I have asked God for something and didn't get it, then I thought, it must be that God didn't care. But then some time passed and as I looked back upon the whole event, often I was in awe and surprise because if God had of given me that particular thing. It's not telling how my life would be today. Right now I'm happy to say that I'm blessed and because you and I have shared this word you are highly favored. I love the scripture that you shared and I am honored that you would share it with us all here at mylot. It's one of my favorite scripture versus. So thanks so much for sharing, it was a great reminder of the awesomeness of God. Happy mylot!

Citychic, my friend....always your discussions reach into the soul of things without us perhaps realizing it. I enjoy answering your posts.... The religion on which my parents raised us was all about God being "just" - as in "fear God." If you followed the commandments and did what was pleasing to God - he blessed you. If not - then the "negative" feelings and events of your life were God's curse. I don't believe that anymore. My spiritual beliefs today are grounded in knowing God intimately versus a set of laws someone has laid out and interpreted for me. God is God - neither good nor bad. We are humans, we have created the labeling of good and bad - and thus the situations of our lives. God isn't "up in heaven" making a "naughty and nice" list. God is God - with an order to the Universe as it was created - for every action there is a consequence. Some we see as "good" - some we see as "bad." But in every occurrence, in every part of our lives, there is God - and yes, there are blessings. We have only to expand our sense of what a blessing truly is in order to see and appreciate God with gratitude in our hearts.

My friend Msabu, thank you so much for coming by and for being able to get enjoyment from my discussions as well as for sharing and for shedding light and insight upon your perception of God. You've made a lot of very relevant points my friend and I do agree with you wholeheartedly on most of them. What you said about our some of the teachings that we grew up with in particularly you speaking for yourself. I'm glad that you were able to share that with us. I think that many of us were taught that God was good and the devil represented evil or bad when we were children. My belief on that is that while most of our parents may not have been scholars, they were able to feed us this basic foundational word in order to make it as simple as possible. Religion and of itself isn't exactly a simple thing. I think that's because it's man that makes it so complicated with all the different laws as you'd mentioned. Oh Msabu there are far too many to go into all in just one discussion. So we will have to finish this discussion a little bit later on okay? Don't think that i'm running out on you my dear friend because I'm always so inspired by your thoughts and beliefs. For me it's just that my moment of expiration has come upon me here at mylot. So I will retire for the evening then will look forward to getting back to you soon. Take care of yourself and stay faithful my friend. It's as you said, we all have so much to be thankful for is we truly understand what a real blessing is. Have a good night.

I believe in GOD very much. Is my live a mess yes,my daughter has disabilities yes,are we always broke yes,do we have 30 days to move and no where to go yes. BUT if not FOR GOD. My daughter would have never been brought back to life the night she was born and would not still be here after having two horrible seizures that caused her to stop breathing and having several other seizures and yet is still the same sweet girl she is. If not FOR GOD we would have been been homeless long ago,If not for God we would have nothing to eat right not.But BECAUSE of GOD we have made it,has it been easy?? NO But does anyone think what Jesus went threw was EASY? I sure hope not,Jesus went threw so much it is indescribable, and God who sent his only son to die for us SUFFERED as well. I hope you don't find my response as rude I just want to make sure whomever reads this sees what GOD has done in my life and is going to continue to do. I know we are having a hard time and I have no clue how or where we are going to move to but GOD will help us,guide us,take care of us because HE always has.

Amen sister, I agree with you totally that God will take care of you. And I don't find your comment rude at in the least. I was praying that someone would come here and really begin to give testimony to the goodness of God because I know that he's been good to me. I may not have it going on either as far as the way the world view success but just the fact that I have good health and other things, I can always make it. Sometimes I feel like God will give us just enough to keep us leaning on him. Which isn't exactly a bad thing. As for your daughter and family I will be sure to keep you all lifted up in prayer as we never know how God is going to work out our sistuations. Just keep praying babyangie, just keep praying and never give up on God. Keep looking to him and as you said, he will continue to guide you. This much I know for the bible tell us so. God bless you.................... Good night. PS: There is so much more that I could tell but if you really want to know more just add me as a friend and then we can talk about things more in details.....

Yes I do agree that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Are you a catechist? Just wondering, because I'm a catechist before and we always say that to the children we're teaching in catechism. It's also my opening message on my phone LOL, so that I won't forget that God is always there to guide and bless me. Not only me but my whole family, friends and the whole world because God is Good!

Hello d_red_madelaine..... I just wanted to say thank you for stopping by and for adding your inspiring comment. Although I"m not exactly sure what a catechist is? Sorry but I don't believe I have heard of that term before. I am however familiar with some of the catholic teachings and I can't really say that I"m a devout follower of that either. I'm just a believer and I do know that God is always blessing each one of us. So I'm happy to meet you and I pray that God will continue to bless you and your entire family and the world. Yes, indeed my friend, God is Good! All the time! Have a Good night!

Hello citychic, Of course I agree with you. GOD IS GOOD!!! Those who can not see this, are not informed about God. Yes, there are many evil and bad things in this world, but instead of blaming God we have to blame the ones that are truly responsible for this mess. Satan, Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve had it made. Really a perfect life in Paradise,no sickness no hunger no pain and a FREE WILL, which they abused and decided to disobey God. 1 Rule is all they had to follow, just ONE. But Thanks to Satan deceiving Eve and Eve dragging Adam into it, we have to suffer the consequences. We were BORN INTO SIN. BUT since God does love us,this evil world will not remain and we will have a new paradise. This is what he promised us and I for one believe in his promises. God clearly warned us when Satan was thrown out of heaven: woe to the earth cause santan has come down to you and he will deceive many. all the bad things happening from wars to hunger to diseases, earthquakes etc ..all of this has been foretold and all of it is a sign that we better be on the lookout cause the end will come and so will a new earth and we who stand with Christ will be blessed and inherit the earth where evil will be no more:) many blessings to you all:)

Hello a_mother's touch, I honestly do believe everything that you have stated here and I believe it's true. All we can do is put the word out there and try to live right ourselves, others can accept it or reject it. But a fairy tale is the last thing that I would call it. I feel so sorry for the people that don't know God or who he is or his purpose. And the bible tell us that since they didn't believe God will give them a reprobate mind. God bless you a-motherstouch...thank you for sharing. Hope you have a great evening and will be in touch later. Good night.

I truly and honestly believe that God is very good to me and all of us. I have been asking him for a job in this nearby hospital in my town and I really wanted to get the job. I soon will find out how good is God and I really hope that he listen to my prayer. Hope you could pray for me too guys. I really love to have a job there because it is near at my place. This job is not my proof that God is good. If I can't be hired for the job it just means that I am not suited for the job and there is something much better waiting for me. God always has his plans for us to be successful. The only thing that we can do is to work things out according to his plan, that way you will be successful someday. God is good, all the time. All the time, God is really good. Happy mylotting.

Hello my friend marctiu, I'm most appreciative of your response. I'm so happy to see that you are praying and trusting God to give you what you desire. God tell us to just ask for what we want and since you are asking, I see no reason why he wouldn't give it to you. My only point that I want to make right now, is to make sure that you do your part. Often we may ask God for something but then we aren't doing everything that we know we should be doing. God isn't a genie who can just pull something out of a hat. That is the mistake that a lot of people make, thinking that God will just drop something down from out the sky at them when they pray. Not saying that he can't do it like that if he wanted to but I'm just saying, we need to be realistic and do our part too. Because God works with us like in a partnership. If we do our part, he will certainly do his part. Also there is one thing that you must remember. If you don't get this job that you are praying for, it just means that God don't always give us everything that we ask for simply because he already know the plans that he have for us and perhaps that particular job may not be a part of his plan. But you just keep the faith because I agree with you in prayer that God can deliver. If not that one, there is certainly something better in store for you. So I will be praying that you get the job and when you get it, I do hope that you will come back and share it with mylot. And even if you don't get it, sometimes you have to thank God anyway, simply because it could have been a door that God didn't want you to walk through. Simply trust him to guide your steps marctiu and as long as you are praying that prayer, he will certainly guide us into the right places for us. Thanks for sharing and happy mylot.

You are very welcomed Martiu and I would just like to say that I think you have such a great perspective and a great outlook on God. It's good to hear that you are doing your part. And if this one don't come through just keep on looking and don't give up. That's the bottom line. I've often heard it said that God may not always come when you need him but he's always right on time. Wishing you all the best, good nite.

Thank you very much for the advice. I believe that I am doing my part and I truly believe that God can help me out. I don't blame him for anything, instead I believe that there is a reason for everything. So, if I don't get the job it means to say that there is much better possibilities for me out there than this job. Happy mylotting my friends.

Yes! I believe 100% God is good all the time. Just like the lyrics in the song by Don Moen, "God is good all the time, he put a song of praise in this heart of mine, God is good all the time through the darkest nights his light will shine..." He really is there for us, I can always count on him. God is my motivation and my strength. I thank him for my life.. :)

God's Masterpiece! - This is a picture that I took one evening. Just as the sun was about to go down. I felt so fortunate to be able to capture this rare and splendid moment in time of something that only God could have orchestrated!
I praise the Lord for you my dear friend Jahaziel. I thank God for giving you such strong faith and belief. You've shared some wonderful insight with us this evening. Now I want to share with you something that is almost breathtaking and miraculous all at the same time. I do hope that I can find it. It's a picture of God's goodness. Well you probably heard the old saying before that a picture is worth a thousand words I'm sure. So I'm just going to let this one speak for itself...You can tell me later what you think and how you like it. And if anybody happen to look at this beautiful breathtaking sight and they cannot give God the glory for it, then all that I can say is that they must be blinded by the enemy. Now look below at this breath taking, miraculous image and allow it to speak for itself.
