Have you Read the Artemis Fowl series?

This is another stupendous series of books written by Eoin Colfer. It portrays the life of an adolescent criminal genius by the name of Artemis Fowl the second, and how he manages to unearth the secret underground domain of the fairies and extend his criminal activities there. Later in the series, though, he is converted to a friend of the fairy People and helps them out of many a tight spot. The stories almost rival Harry Potter in the radical new depiction of magic and magical people. The stories are absolutely gripping, with no loose ends. News is that movies are also underway based on the series. I just can't wait to see how they depict the events in the stories and how well can someone portray the character of Artemis Fowl. Do grab the series if you spot them. They are worth the read. Cheers.
