The coolest thing about dieting is it should not be a diet but a life style change. Because diets dont last but changing your life style will. Another cool thing is you can eat whatever you want but you HAVE to do it in MODERATION. This is very difficult I know. I had to learn to eat bigger meals for breakfast and lunch because thats during the day when I need the most energy then eat a smaller meal (I usually eat off a saucer instead of a big plate so I dont over due it) at diner time. If you want something eat it just in moderation. Instead of a whole peice of cheese cake or two peices just a few good bites should do. Depriving yourself makes your body crave it more then a lot of people buckle down and break eating a whole bunch of bad stuff at once then feeling like they ruined all their hard work. Thats not truely, if you fall of the wagon get back up and get back on. It will make you strong and you can think about what you did wrong then to help you along. Also add more fruits and veggies. I've learned to love them when I use to hate them.

yes i love eating all kinds of fruits! however, my mom used to tell me to not waste food so we got used to no leftovers when eating. so when i buy cheesecakes, for example, i try to finish it up even if i'm already full since i find it a waste of money to just have leftovers. after that when i get home i won't be eating anymore to lessen my food intake.

eah I use to have abig problem with this too but now they have stuff like the little freezable cheesecake that you can just have a few bites and freeze the rest. Look into things like that. The power of a good freezer is amazing!

it seems best to stick to fruits, vegetables and protein (fish and chicken), vitamins and minerals, water, unprocessed plant oils, ocassional dairy products and unsweetened dark chocolate are fine... Perhaps the top four avoids: - fried foods such as fastfood fried chicken, burger, fries - shrimps, crabs and similar seafoods - red meat like pork, beef, lamb - saturated fats such as roast pork Happy eating delicious vegetable and fish soups, whole grain crops, etc. Finally: "Four out of five times I crave for a snack, I just drink water and get back to work :)" Cheers

You have to cut back on food intake and do regular exercise like:jogging, brisk walking. These are the only healthful things can help you maintain your weight.Of course,it is important also to eat nutritious foods and reduce calories, fats and salt to your diet.Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Training yourself to eat well and exercise is the best way toward long term weight loss. Avoid all of those fad diets that are out there nowadays. They may produce weight loss quickly at first but it is short term loss and the weight will come back quickly. Eat slower and eat smaller portions. Eating slow gives your brain enough time to tell your body that it is full and eating smaller portions cuts back on the calorie intake of course. Obviously it is best to eat more fruits, vegetables, grains and fiber. Eat less sugars and fats and definately increase your water intake. All of this will probably take a little longer to lose weight but I believe that losing weight slowly over time makes the weight stay off and is better for your health.
