Can you discribed your community, and the kind of life mankind in your area. In our area its slum area, you can see that people are mostly bystanders. Early in the morning you can see drunk men, more vices and others. How about your community?...

I live in a very quiet community just fifteen minutes away from Manila. Neighbors mind their own business and crime is very low, even non-existent. Manila is so congested that this is one of my reasons for moving here even if it means more travel time, and sometimes public transport is hard to come by. I cannot survive in the type of community you live in Hazelrose. But this is just a personal standpoint. This comes to mind the news I heard yesterday of a group of environmentalists who claim that wearing slippers can cause infertility. This is a laugh! If this were true, then there would be no problems of our population ballooning out of proportion. I have nothing against poor people, but my stand has always been if you can't feed or provide a good life for a child, might as well not have a child.

Hello,anne25penn,In my case,is really different from yours, because we are not permanent in this place. We are just transient, we usually transfer to another place after 2-3 years. We used to this situation because of my husbands duty.Any way,we can easily adopt what kinds of place we were living. My family,my children really understands our situation. They can easily adjust. Thanks for the response,I'm so sorry for the late response.Good Luck!

Hi, that's too bad and too sad living in an urban slum setting. Mostly slum communities have lesser motivations so the residents end up doing routine unproductive things. I live in an urban setting. The neighbors are okay. Early morning you can see peole either walking or jogging. Watering their plants in little gardens and tending to the pets.
