well i'm only a teenager and a girl. and i have never heard of a girl proposing but i think i kind of did just not on one knee and i think i kind of said will you marry me without really asking. i have this guy friend that i'm super close to and i'm like in 30 years if were still single we should get together and start a family. but of course him being immature he thought it was hilarious and he told all his guy friends and they were like i will marry you no me no me and they just kept making fun of me for that for the longest. so i basically got rejected and he's not the person i thought he was. wow this is embarrassing i never told anyone this story before so you should feel pretty lucky.

I have a different philosophy altogether. In my life, I've seen people who have fallen in love with each other, but after a while, it only becomes a habit, nothing else. It becomes boring to be always with the same person, and if you even suggest going out for a while with your other friends, your partner will be offended and if you're unlucky, may even suspect you of trying to woo another partner. What I'm trying to say is that I love my independence. I like to live by my own standards, without trying to mould myself in a way that my partner would like. I like to hang out with all my friends without a partner trying to pull me away from the throng for privacy all the time. You're just 19 now. More probably what you're having is just a bout of infatuation. Go for it if you're prepared for more heartbreaks. I think that after being refused for 5 times in a row, you should be prudent enough to let that girl off on her own because it's evident that she doesn't love you and never will. She's just being irked by your consistent proposals more and more and whatever chances you had for eliciting a positive response from her are also dwindling. If you seriously believe in love, then believe in another thing: there are lots of girls around. Just look around you. Don't waste your breath upon just one of them. Who knows, some girl may already have a sweet little crush upon you. Try finding such a girl. Cheers.
