Why commenting on ourselves???

Hi friends, I have been noted that most of the myLotters commenting on themselves for the reply. Even i too do the same for sometime because, mostly the discussion starter will comment. If any of the friends comment me, then i try to comment on their response mostly but mostly comment on myself. I am going to comment on the responses who comment on me. What about you? Why comment on ourself? Think about it.. They dont get the notifiers for commenting on ourself. They will get the notifier if we comment on their response. So, we can get a good conversation there is it? If discussion starter comment on us, we have no other choices to comment on ourself. But, i guess most of the DS trace the comments while commenting on others. For this discussion: What is the maximum comments you get in a discussion? What is the maximum number of responses you got in the discussion? Have a great day.

Commenting on oneself is to make the discussion keep going.. haha =D IN a way, it's healthy for those involved in it, as it allows us to understand each other better too ^_^ I have got a long list of comments in my own post as well as in others.. lol =D MOst of them had been carrying on for about 1 month or more and it does not seem to be stopping anytime.. haha =D As for maximum responses i ever have till date in 1 post, is just about 18.. haha =D

Hi kun, Yes, commenting on the others will get more about them. But if we keep commenting on ourselves mean they dont get notifier. Also, there is no need for @username in the comments for the barging between more than one friend. Also, every one got the reply in their box straight away and no need to see the responded section to see whether they receive comments on the comments they made on their friends right? Dear dbutheking, I noticed that too, therefore at times I will comment back other myLotters at their responses. This way, they will receive the notification in their mail, right? But I normally will comment on my 'myLotters friends' responses if I come across them at others' discussion topic, sort of like courtesy visit and say 'hi' which in actual fact I will write 3-5 lines pertaining to their responses. Is it all right to do that? Will it create any .... My maximum responses received so far I think is 79 responses. Number of comments received in a response /discussion that I did.. how to check and where to check, coun them individually?? Do advise!

Hi Iriene, I guess, you can never ever count the number of comments you received as it would be like counting the stars. Because you are commenting all the way,. But, you can notice that some of the response receive the comments and barging there. I have the maximum of 35 comments in a single response in the friends response in the discussion.. I also see you say, hi to all your frends in the discussion..you are attractive to all.. Have a great day...

I would like to seek you expertise on this:~ What is the difference between 'responded' column sixth at the top and 'discussion I've replied to' in our profile? Can you enlighten me on it? Hi Iriene, 35 comments means not only i commented, it includes the others comment too.. Simple difference about your Query, responded section will be arranged in the way that your last responded discussion came first and the first responded discussion is at last.. discussion i replied in profile is your responded discussion which has the last response first last will be the first discussion in the profile.. Can you understand??

dbuthteking just a moment the only time i comment on myself,' know it all,is when I make a typo and want the readers to know' what I really meant to say, that is not a comment on myself at all but on making sure that the readers know what the sentence was meant to say as some typos change a word's meaning. This is allowed by mylot so dont get yourself all upset by it. I have never counted comments nor responses,I get from 25 to 56 at times, but I also would rather be responding or commenting instead of keeping track, it does not mean squat to me. for a newbie,you sure are busy.

Hi dbu, the new avatar is fun but a tiny bit distracting. Now I know that you like me to keep my English simple so I've no idea about the number of comments as I don't count them but the number of responses will show on the bottom of each discussion. I noticed one from this last week had 65 which seems a lot to me as I do comment back on all responses and when there is so many there is obviously overlap in some of the actual responses, but I don't have a problem with responding to each one with a little origninality as it is the courteous thing to do when people have taken the time to respond.

Hello DBu, well it depends on who's commenting back on my comments to their responses, i never counted them just the notion of commenting them back. as for the number of responses, hmmmm.. sometimes ten or eleven or higher than that but it never went to beyond, as if i wanted, it would take forever to be comment and thus, the curse, will be on me again
