When you hear people say "what goes around comes around," do you believe it? Is there something in the universe that brings back good things to people who do good things and the same for those who do bad things to others, what are your thoughts?

I believe in the law of attraction, so what you think about or do will come to you. If you have negative thoughts about let's say your bank account. "Gosh, I am in debt again" you attract more debt. However if you say:" I want to have $100.000 by the end of the year", and you really think about it often and perhaps even write a fake check and take a look at it each day and treat each and every bill as being a check then it's said that you will get the money. Don't say:"I never want to be in debt anymore" because the universe doesn't take words of negation into account. I have experienced some weird things after following the directions of "THE SECRET".
While this is not necessarily justice I think it is the closest answer I can give.

...Hi diamania, you should be a motivational speaker or writer. So well put. Don't
know if you heard about it but Jim Carrey, the actor, before he made it big, wrote hiself a check for ten thousand dollars and put it in his wallet. Today he makes twenty thousand dollars for one movie, it worked. We all need to do m
ore of what you say. Take care and thanks so much.

We seem to be on two different topics here, the law of attraction and karma. Oh well.
I tend not to believe in "what goes around comes around"...correction, I believe in the theory but my experiences have been totally different. I've known kind and loving people whose only thoughts are to help others and they lead difficult lives while nasty people who treat others badly have the best of things.
Maybe I'm just meeting the wrong people??

...Hi Ms Tickle, Forgive my slowness in responding. If you look at the world in general, there are those who seem to do good things and no reward comes their way, and sometimes the reverse occurs. I seem to remember somewhere it says, the rain falls on the good and the bad. So here we are. Take care.

Hi, Artistry!
I absolutely do believe in karma. It has its own time frame, however, so it may not happen when we would like it.

Good one! I guess that would equate to what they call "karma". I'd like to think "what goes around comes around", but I don't necessarily think that there is something in the universe that actually disperses the good and the bad to people.
Hard, honest work doesn't guarantee success, as one would like to think. And some people do get away with murder, as sick as that is. Those are just a couple of general examples. And then there is the issue of what exactly is good - and what is bad.
I do, however, think that doing good things gives you a bigger chance of having better opportunities for your life. And doing bad things only bogs down your life, giving you a bigger chance of leading you through a rough road.

...Hi much2say, I think you are right, there is something somewhere that says the rain falls on the good and the bad. Point well taken about the law of averages so to speak, giving you a better chance if you do good. Take care, thanks for your comment.

Good luck with mylotting.
