Is Wikipedia giving us accurate info?

This question came to my mind when I realized that used may edit Wikipedia content and info. But what if someone enters false info into Wikipedia and someone read it and treats it as fact. The results may be disastrous. I don't know if someone at Wikipedia is doing some accuracy checks on the info entered into their site.

When the added info is complete nonsense they immediately chop your head off. Those people there aren't friendly or something. Even if you're a complete noob who just wants to do something good will be attacked. Anyway, wikipedia is pretty accurate, it is absolutely the best encyclopedia out there. But if you really want in-dept and accurate information read more sources rather than wikipedia alone.

I do hope that people at Wikipedia keeps a good eye on the info that is fed into their site. I love Wikipedia since it is where I feed my favorite hobby: reading.

I think that anything you read on Wikipedia should be taken with a pinch of salt. Anyone can write on there even if they no nothing about the subject they are writing about. Having said that, there are also some very knowledgeable people who contribute there as well.
