My fellow mylotters, I recently submitted 2 reviews to a site called reviewstream.com. On submission, they gave me an estimated processing date for the reviews I submitted. But each time the estimated date arrives, it gets postponed by a day. Can any1 tell me whether this is usual with the site??Thanks in advance. Cheers:)

Hi, I am also a member of reviewstream and I have been paid twice. I have noticed that some of my reviews would take about five days before it is approved. usually though, I get a turnaround time of 72 hours. Hang in there, they will eventually get to your reviews, they're probably busy. I am not sure though if they do manually check the reviews because about two weeks ago, I experienced instantaneous approval and rejection. I think they use a software and there are topics which you can get the full rate such as electronics. I am not sure though what other topics get the full rate. Did you experience that? I hope we can share some tips to make writing reviews for reviewstream easier.

That is what I want to know to, is there are any tricks on how our reviews to be approved. I have submitted a very descriptive review before and that was the first one that got rejected and the message said after five days, they are not interested to buy it. I got headache after learning this one and it hurts me truly. I am having trouble on RS. I have a loser review before and after 3 days it was paid. That's cruel. I haven't been paid and I want to get paid this week. I am getting frustrated with the site.

The ones approving the reviews are pretty inconsistent. The same thing happens to me quite a lot - I write a review I am less than happy and they approve it, sometimes even at regular rate, and sometimes I write a review that even I approve and they reject it. From experience, they seem to like reviews on electronics, travels and beauty products. The ones I do on cellphones and laptops have a higher chance of being bought at full rate. So, I usually make a 400-500 word review on them. The rest I just make about a 250-word review. Their turnaround time is also inconsistent. I have given up trying to figure it out. I just submit and check for its approval. They pay pretty fast though and so I devote a few hours to this website. I sometimes get irritated with them because their admin lack people skills. But the money is guaranteed unlike in triond and helium where you have to promote your writing. I'm pretty lazy at promoting myself. What about you, have you cashed-out? What's your penname there? Maybe we can vote for each other's review.

Hi iceberg and welcome to MyLot. Hopefully, things will go smooth for you here and you'll enjoy the site as much as I do. I've only been a member for a short time too but so far really enjoy it. I just wish I had more time to spend here, but I kind of concentrate on making money freelance writing as it pays well and I find it extremely rewarding. I write for Reviewstream also. Although my problem with them is not exactly the same as yours, its similar. I have 3 different times now submitted reviews (that I worked quite hard on I might add) to have them disappear into thin air. I submit, they acknowledge receiving, than when I check back the next day, its gone from my account. I realy dont understand how this can happen, but it does. I have emailed them about it just two days ago but so far no answer. (They do not work on weekends) Also, I have found that the 72 hour turnaround isn't always the case either. My last bought review took 5 days to be approved. Even thou it took that long, they payed me at full price, so I was happy anyway. So, don't dispair over the time it takes as I see this as very common. Like they say, actual people read each and every review submitted so the response time is only going to be as good as their employees I guess. I would imagine that they receive hundreds each day and who knows how many "readers" they have. Hang in there cause you can make pretty decent money with them. You'll learn what they like and do not like and what it takes to get them to buy at full price over the .40 bulk price. If I can help you in anyway, feel free to ask me. I'm going to request you as a friend and then we can correspond. If you like writing for money, short stories and the likes, I can help stear you in the right direction there also. Best of luck..Joyce

Hey sulsisels, how are you? Thanks a lot for your response. I really appreciate it. One of the reviews I submitted got accepted(at the bulk rate though). But, it's ok. Atleast I know that even if they take more than three days, they do process the review. Yeah, I would really appreciate it if you could guide me in the freelance writing area. Thanks a lot again and hope your problem gets solved quickly too. Cheers:)

Hello sulsisels! I appreciate your response. I have been with review streams for quite a long time and I just join your response for the quality of information you left. I am interested with freelance writing though. MOreover, recently my reviews were all rejected, and I noticed maybe I have done something wrong. I need help and if you have time kindly give you a pm, but first kindly accept my invitation as your friend. Thanks a lot.

I guess that time zone from reviewstream is different from your area. It happens to me the same, and I waited patiently whether they accept my review or not. That is how it works out. So, be patient, and you will get paid eventually.

I'm a member of reviewstream. I haven't been submitting any reviews lately but based on my experience on this site, it usually takes 3 days before they approve my reviews.
