So I'm sure like many of you looking for ways to earn extra money working from home that you have seen things like this advertised. So my question is hass anyone tried it? If so did it work? What kinds of products are they talking about? And last but not least- is the pay fair for what you are asked to do and do you have to sell the products yourself? Pleasse no referral links: it will only get the discussion deleted!!! Thanks in advance and happy posting!

Hi dncmanning Well of course everyone has to make their own decisions about what to join and what not to join and I'm glad your doing some research first..Thats half the battle. I do have experience with assembly at home and it was a disaster, for me. Typically what happens is you usually have to invest some money. Its not a lot of money, but its money just the same and they give you a varitey of reasons what the "fees" cover. My experience was making refrigerator magnets....So, they ship you the stuff along with the criteria to have your work accepted. Thats where the problem is. 85% of what I made was rejected, or so they tell you. Everything has to be picture perfet and although I thought mine were, they said they wern't. I really think they just tell you that and sell them anyway. You have to pay the s&h when you send them in and believe me thats not cheap. I know people who have assembled picture frames, and jewelry and reported the same results as I got. I do know however, someone who make fishing lures and said he did pretty well but he is the only one I know that had good things to say. If you decide to try it, I would honestly stick to something like stringing beads for jewelry as I don't know what kind of faults they could find with those, but then again, I don't know. Just be careful and don't invest anything over 20.00. Of course investing nothing is what I tried for but couldn't find it. Just be careful..

Wow! Thanks for all the information. SOunds like there is a lot to learn and know and do. I really didn't consider the fact that companies could/ would say no to so much of the work. Thanks again for taking the time to respond, it is very helpful!
