I think that aborted babies are the missing people of the world. I am sure that many great ones have been aborted and the world will never see their talent. They weren't allowed to be born. The person that decided to kill them before birth was there own mother. What do you think?

Okay they might have been the new Einstein. But what if a mother has been raped and the rapist's sperm caused her to be pregnant. That's a valid reason for me to go for an abortion. Not during any time in the process of being pregnant of course. Furthermore the mother must get time to think over it, obligatory, a week is fine.

If I was raped today I would take a morning after pill tomorrow. If I became pregnant and the morning after pill didn't work I would adopt my baby. If I kept my baby I might think of the nasty rapist.

Max- It's very easy for you to say if this, if that! But you don't know what you would do. I don't mean to be disrespectful but for me there is nothing worse than a person who stands up to say I would- you don't know. You can't know, you haven't been there. So please before you make assumptions or jugdments, try walking a mile in the other persons shoes. Or better yet talk to me when your daughter or Granddaughter is in that position. Until then you can only speak of what you feel you may or may not do; not what you know you would do. A persons beliefs, morals, and values can change in an instance when they are personally touched by something.

I was offered an abortion but I said no way at 36 weeks pregnancy. I let my son have life and he is now 27 months old. In some countries abortion is illegal but where I live abortions are allowed up until 24 weeks pregnancy. I respect other people's decisions.

I sometimes wonder what aborted babies would have been had they grown up. Sure, there would have been those who went the wrong way in life, but could one of them have been the person who could came up with the cure to some kind of cancer? Could one of them have been the person that would have donated bone marrow to my cousin? Would that person have signed up to the donor registry and saved another life?
