the paypal countries list needs to be updated

i'm from algeria a country in north africa my lot paypal countries list needs to be updated because 190 countries should be addedto the list including algeria my country this is the list according to paypal official website: http://www.paypal.com/worldwild/ this is the list according to mylot: http://www.mylot.com/o/ppcountry.aspx am i write????

I agree with Tora. Unfortunately, the bottom list is slightly ambiguous. It clearly states that you can send and receive money with accounts situated in countries in the top lists, though some of them require you to withdraw to a US bank account (something that not everyone may be able to get) and, in a few cases, you can request a cheque. The heading "Send Money to Anyone in the Growing PayPal Network", however, seems to suggest that you can send money TO people in that list but, in fact, it means that those countries in that list can only send money. They cannot (as yet) receive it. Here is the corrected link to the PayPal list, by the way, for anyone having difficulty with the link above: http://www.paypal.com/worldwide

The link below is more specific about what can be done from Algeria. (If the link doesn't show Algeria selected from the drop down list, select Algeria (or any country you desire). For Algeria is says: "Send: Send funds without sharing your financial information. * Mastercard * Visa * American Express Make payments in the currency you select. PayPal supports 18 currencies." PayPal is available in Algeria, but PayPal users in Algeria can only send money using PayPal. They cannot receive funds through PayPal. That is why Algeria and all the other countries in that bottom section on the PayPal Worldwide page are not included on MyLot's list. MyLot's list only includes countries that can receive payments.

but the buttom list (where there is algeria) says send money to anyone in the growing paypal network... i understood send money to any one who lives in these 190 countries by the net i don't wanna recieve money at home, just wanna use them on the net.. gain am i right???

You can only send money which you've added to your account via bank account/credit card, you cannot receive money online. If you want my advice, just register a US paypal account, you can still buy things without verifying your account, but the websites accepting unverifyed paypal payments is very limited.
