Is there possible pure friendship between man and woman?

maybe it's very old and difficult topics, and yesteday i have dicussed this topic with my wife, my opinon is yes, they can have pure friendship, but my wife think all the good friendship between man and woman would have some unknown reason, sextual attraction, tension, passion etc, and they can't get pure friendship. so what about your opinion, any comments from you are welcomed. thanks

i think its possible to have pure friendship between a man and a woman...coz i experienced it myself! yes, when i was still in college i do have few guy friends and i have one that is really very close to me...but we don't have any other feelings for each other aside from being friends! and actually i feel like we are like brothers and sisters! we are of the same age,we feel like we share the same sentiments and experiences in life...that's why we become that close...we even call ourselves 'twins'
both of us are in a relationship already before we meet each other...and now, both of us are married to our respective partners! and up to present, we are still good friends as well as our partners!

Well hello shajerrl. well i think girla and boys can be really good friends at times but the thing is it always ends into love or we start being too possessive towards each other it just happens dont know.But 1 into 100 it is that there are best and pure friend between a girl and boy for sure.
