Study is a prime job of any student. But generally what is primary aim of study? "just to score marks" OR "To learn and understand something" what you think?

When I study in primary school, I will think study is to score high marks and compete with other friends. Conversely, I have change my mind that study is to understand new things and they can also be useful experience to cope with 'future' challenges..

In My opinion, primary aim of study -- learn new things. secondly -- score marks to determine how we understand a things.

Both. Scoring marks will help pave the way for your future, but however, you won't be able to do anything in your future role if you don't know a hoot about what your job's about (: Where I live, parents are very concerned about scores, and many new tuition centres have opened where the main focus each lesson is on exam technique rather than knowledge.

Studying is a step in preparing oneself for the world of work or the big future ahead. It is essential because you cannot learn anything just by experience alone. So to answer your question, the aim of studying is "to learn and understand something." Score marks or grades are just standards to measure the value of learning you attain in studying.

It is simple. You go to learn how to get a job. No one or I should say most people don't go because they want to. I am not saying people don't go for the enjoyable, however rare and strange that might be.

hi roh_ish,study is something which is primarily meant for students but it should not be mistaken that for all those who work, can't study.actually i am trying to say that its like a work assigned to you which you have to complete with all your best inputs.similarly a teacher is supposed to teach his/her student with full commitment so studying is simultaneously learning and scoring marks.learning for your knowledge and your intellectual improvement while marks for your grading and comparing with others.so my friend give your 100% to the task assigned to you.
