What does war mean to you?

your father ,,,i think he is a great man.....i will pray for him..... I like the concept of being in peace with our enemies. But it is also a fact that MAKING PEACE WITH ENEMY IS TOUGHER THAN WAR ,but it do have the blessings of all your well wishers We should not also forget Gandhi's NON VIOLENCE movements in the present situation.....Which is the most suitable and hardest method to avoid the upcoming dangers in our green earth

Yesterday I watched a documentary called the last Nazis came home. I was very shocked with what I saw. Then I had a question what is war? Why the war never stops in human history. Then this morning I read your topic. To me war means deaths. Many people lost their lives and children lost their parents. It’s really cruel behaviour in world. I watched a few films connecting wars. Every time when I watch these films I feel very sad. After a war our civilization was back a lot than before.

War mean to me,is also bloodshed.I have not experienced war,I don't know how cruel it is in the end.I know everything about war from television or movies.I do not like watching war movie.

Hi biman_s. War means only one thing for me. It means killing, it means ending ones life. It is a destruction of one'e. This is something we should not advocate. There are things that can be solved by communicating and not igniting war.

War is bad. War is devil. War is kill somebody. War is garbage

To politicians, war is just one of various methods to solve conflicts. To army officers especially those generals, war means they could be promoted quickly. To arms companies, war is a golden opportunity to make fat profits. But to ordinary people including civilians and soldiers, war is completely a catastrophe. In order to let people support war, the governing class would say that the war is for the sake of national interests, but in fact it is more likely for their own sakes. But it seems that we could do nothing to avoid war for we have been "represented" by those in power.

I am against war. I think every country should try to avoid war at all cost. One can engage in peace talk again and again till we arrive at a solution, and thus avoid war. War causes so much of destruction and so ultimately every party into war fights and kill each other so that nobody wins at the end. But this is easier said than done. We are on the verge of fighting with Pakistan again and again.

to me it's because other cant excpet the fact other people are different and have different bleife or whatever. or even that one country is better then another. so instead excepting this they want to destoried them. to me this is so stuipd for a reason.

I have the greatest of respect for all the people who serve in the war as they risk their lives to protect others that have not asked to be in conflict.I think they are very brave to risk their own lives.We should be very proud of all the people who fought for our country in the past wars as well as all the other wars that are going on.

I have never experienced any wars but your discussion interests me. War is a nightmare for me, I only hear of it from reports or movies. To me, they are romanticized or dramalized. I can not figure out why humans wage war all the time, causing numerous people die in blood seas. From war, I can see the brutal human nature, they devise all means to torture their fellow men. Jesus, war is the biggest nightmare for me.

War doesn't mean anything, it just brings pain, heartache, despair, anger and destruction...

war is one of the big conflict in our world.Others wanna be powerful.others wanna be a one kingdom setting up.but from the past they are four kingdom is great but one kingdom is powerful.Great battles of the world would be a good and evil armies.We Know the future war would be spiritual war.I think the future all nations would decided to be one world order to be as one.Most powerful around the world combine political and power.Peace is the way but the enemy take it slowly.Bring peace, when someone takes over he is powerful than any human being existed.The world is full of in balance.The world before is perfect when evil take it the world is unclean world.Only God can bring peace.I know evil his time is short.

War means to me a lot of ego problems present in the air.If we can remove ego and start finding solutions to issues and think of the bloodshed which can happen due to it ,i think world can be a better place.

To me, war means nothing but only destruction.

Hi biman, I detest war, it, as you say, sheds innocent blood. People must come to realize that war can never bring peace. It may bring an end to a dictatorship and a break in hostilities but never peace. Humans have been fighting each other since the beginning of time and are still doing so. It is time that we learn to get along. Blessings.

War will never be a good solution of anything. I don't like war. Nothing good will come out of it. We will see bloodshed, tears of the innocent victims and more bad effect, before and after. People become savage during war in order to survive. They said they want peace by attacking others. But how will peace arrived if the victims strike back and they will engage in a war?

To me war means loss of valuable human lives.War means destruction of human and natural property.War means unnecessary expense on weapons which can be put to better economic use.War means a method of soothing the egos of politicians.The more we interact with one another we better understand one another and this leads to peace .Peace means we can utilize our scarce resources to reduce misery and suffering of the people.
