Breach, the movie

I'm a bit surprised no one appears to have written about the movie, Breach, on mylot. I caught up with it on DVD the other night, and, while it was a bit slow to start, it really got going pretty soon, and built the tension up tremendously so that by the end you didn't know whether the young character (played by Ryan Phillipe) would survive. Chris Cooper is superb as the evil-eyed, hypocritical, double-crossing spy. It's one of the best roles he's played. Phillipe is an admirable foil for him: seeming to be a bit dull and stupid, but in fact much smarter than Cooper thinks. http://mikecrowlsscribblepad.blogspot.com/2009/09/breach-and-fracture.html

Glad to hear it has another fan! I reckon it should be better known. I'd never heard of it until I found it in the DVD section at the library.

We've had the dvd of Breach for quite a long while now. I didn't even watch it because the cover looked...not really good. but because of this, I'm thinking of watching it, maybe it would turn out to be a good movie as you have said..
