this is not the first time that i heard this question form friends, officemates and colleagues. most of the time the reason for a break up of couple is 3rd party meaning the guy is having an affair with another woman. i am not being biased with the female gender but reality is we are always been hurt and betrayed. is it because woman are born soft hearted or is it that mean are born polygamous? please do share your thoughts

so it means that those who have loved two women at the same time, love the other and lust the other one?

hai roselynm, In my opinion this condition is applied for both genders..as we all know the male species imprinted with instruction to spread their DNA, while the female counterpart will take the chance to mate with multiple partner in order to increase the odds of pregnancy..so its only the matter of who can control the 'animal' within them.. by default that's the logic that I can think of, unless you're stuck with somebody who happens to be a looser, then I would say it's ok to have a go with another guy/girl..

There was a time when women were the ones being cheated on most often because of the social stigma attached to a cheating wife, which men didn't seem to bear. Now I don't believe women are the only ones being cheated on. Society has supposedly made both genders "equal". Possibly the reason for cheating is each person's definition of love. Other languages have different words for a love of a friend, a love of family, a love of that special one in your life that no one can replace and a love for God, but in English it's just love and even lust gets called love, so I guess in answer to your title, people (not just men) love "other people" one way and their spouses another way.

Hmm interesting, well maybe in most of the case it may be right but actually it doesn't look like man always hurt women. From my personal experience with my own love life and also my friends, women have the same tendency in cheating and hurting men's feeling too, though the difference In my opinion maybe most men doesn't talk about being cheat by their girls outspokenly, or maybe men heals quicker than women. To me when you actually cheat, you never really loved the person that you get involved with in the first time, girls for instance many of the girls I know, usually pick men not based on love, they just have pity on them or just giving them chance.. then when they actually met the real love they just chase them. For me there is not much different in these, though men may have more tendency in fooling around than girls as girls usually are more loyal but if the relationship is really based on real love i have to say men can be as loyal if not more than girls

because all men are idiots in general But genetically men were designed to "spread their seed" and women were designed to grow and harvest that seed. In order for a seed to have a chance of growing, the idea is spread all your seeds as far as possible. So technically all men at one point in their lives will be polygamous whether emotionally, physically and mentally.
