Being a director of a movie I thought at first is easy, but in order to create such a fantastic movie you should posses the skills of a creative mind and you must be open to a lot of opinions and feedback. It is hard to find scenes and all, especially when you are trying to look for the perfect scene or the perfect character for the play. But it's fun being a director I suppose, we had to create a short film for our literature project, It's fun cause you have to unleash the creativeness inside you, I enjoy it in fact, I wish I could be a director. a real one. :) someday.

if i will be given the talent to be a director i will definitely do so as long as i am given the chance to develop my skills no matter how hard as long i have passion for it and it will make me happy. i like to be behind the camera than being the actor in front of the camera. cause at least the director don't give up their private life. they are not being talked about gossiped, their private life no one bothers to talk about. and i like to show my creative side in me. and it makes to show my abilities and my skills and also my ideas on my being a director. seems an exciting job.

But directors are also exposed to the public. I think the directors are sometimes even popular than the actors. Just look at Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorcese and many others. Even local directors are far well-known people than the actors whom they direct. And being famous, they will also be talked about and gossiped about. Just see how Steven Spielberg's divorce from Amy Irving became front page news when she received one of the most expensive divorce settlement in Hollywood.

but they are not talked as much as actors do. and also directors in my country don't get talked much and also they can limit their exposure. they can stay as unknown as they want to . they can decide if they want to popular or not. and even when we see local directors here in public here. they are not being followed around or looked at as much as popular actors do.

Yes, I have to agree with hotsummer. Directors are sometimes well known but they are not talked about just as much as the actors do. Being a director for a job really sounds exciting. It's like one thing you could put your heart with while making it. It may even be something you could express your feelings with, or messages, or even serve the play as a message to all the viewers and all.

Hahaha Wow! that's nice ressaaa. I, myself is a director of my own movies, currently am still in the process or creating movie that has something to do with mylot's users. the first one was actually a promo video which allows me to have testimonies from mylot users. how ever, that drag me down because of the testimonies were so fast that users weren't able to read it.
