I am curious about something you people do.
Now, the issue start like this: You weak up, take a coup of coffee (tea, milk, whiskey, whatever), light a cigarette (or rant against smoking, if you are non-smoker) - all this while waiting the "darn slow mf puter" to start. Then you open your favourite browser and come to mylot.com.
It is not important if you must type your login details or you are logged in thru cookies .. important is you reach on home page of mylot.
Now .. is now !
WHAT YOU DO FIRST ? Where do you go first, what page, what menu, to do what ?
Me, I first try to land on ./disscusion/started/ to see if someone have had the mercy 
to answer or comment on any of my disscusions.
So, again .. What you do ? Where you go and WHY ?

I have already been through discussions that my friends have started because i do that through my e-mail. when i first get here to the site i start with what interest are at the top of the page, and then from their i just start looking around.
Now that i have found one from you i will check your profile and see if you started any other ones that i can reply to. so you might here from me again......

well, after i've had my milk and cornflakes (well i say milk, it's certainly white but needs the addition of gin to make it liquid, and they might not be flakes of corn as such). done my emails etc etc i'll have a look to see what those on my enemies list have been up to then look to see if i have any responses to my latest discusion about ice cream.

started 26 on this subject today - vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, huckleberry etc etc...will certainly fax some icecream over to you. my freezer has been stuffed full in the name of research and i don't like icecream.

Before logging into myLot, I check out may e-mail inbox, because that's where I get all the notifications about the responses, the best responses or the comments I got, about the discussions my friends started or about the messages and friend requests I receive.
After sorting all that out, the first part of myLot I check out is the "discussions from my interests" page, and after I respond any interesting discussions there, I go to the "no responses" discussions. I like responding the older discussions, at least 5 hours late, even older, because the older the discussions the greater the odds of being the sole respondent and receiving the best response

I reset my homepage, I customized it to the way i like and everything I need is right there! It' very easy to do and you can tweak it all you want to! If you don't like it! One hit of the go back to default page gets you back where you started!

Well, i usually check out all the responses to my discussions through my email, but when i finaly first log onto mylot, the first thing i do is check through the list of "recently started discussions" and see if anything catched my fancy. then i start going through all my interest topics in the constantly updated feed on the op of the page..opening up each one and scrolling through all the discussions that have been started since i was last on mylot, reading lots, answering and responding to some.

i start out my morning with getting kids ready for school, read the local newspaper, sip some coffee and then check my email for my business in a virtual world and then its onto mylots to see what everyone is discussing for the day.

Yeah, when I land on the homepage of MyLot, I make sure to go to my started discussions, to check if someone had yet commented or replied at any one of them. But most of the times its just purely depressing to see no one replying or taking any interest. But then I do get a few replies, I mean just one or two. Then I start wondering, whether what it is that takes the discussions to the top discussions list.
The I just check out the latest tasks on MyLot. After that I make sure if someone has accepted the tasks that I put up.
After all this I get to the top discussions page and start putting my coments on the discussions I find interesting enough.
And right now that's all I ever do on MyLot.

I read the answers to the discussion I've started first. I asked questions in hopes someone here has an answer. That's why those are priority. Then I usually read "today's top discussions" and read down the from there. You will see on your homepage that its all organized. I don't look on the left side that much --the new activity section-- I do read discussions about my interests though. It's always smart to add interests so you get more discussions you want to read about.

Now I know what I'm doing wrong.
From my "started" disscusions I usually go for "responded" to see if someone notice my presence there ...... then I go for "new" ......
Now I know I doing a mistake somewhere where are " ... " above !!!
