Holiday or Limited Edition Flavors

Many brands of ice cream have limited edition flavors or special flavors around the holidays. For example right now Edy's makes a pumpkin pie ice cream! I have yet to find it in my local grocery store but I know people that have eaten it and say it's wonderful. I love pumpkin and really want to try it! There is another holiday favorite that I have - around Christmas time Breyer's comes out with a holiday stripped ice cream that tastes like peppermint. It's delicious after our Christmas lunch! So what are your favorite limited edition or holiday flavors?

I have tried both the pumpkin pie ice cream and the peppermint and I like the pumpkin pie ice cream a lot. My adult daughter likes both of them, the peppermint and the pumpkin pie. I think its neat when they have seasonal holiday ice creams. It makes it kind of fun and definitely special. I like it when the candy companies do it too, for the same reasons.

I had forgot to reply about the Peppermint ice cream. That is one of my all-time favorites too, and another one that is exceptional only seasonal though, because he preserves the seasonal flavor and ambiance of the holidays!

Any brand of pumpkin ice cream is fantastic. I love pumpkin too, but I am glad it's a seasonal flavor It seems to be of a treat worth looking forward to, doesn't it? (Pumpkin flavored coffee creamer too.) Another great one is Apple pie flavored ice cream, also available coming up this time of year-delicious!

It's funny but I see these limited edition flavors all the time in the stores but I never seem to buy them. I guess I just like to stick to the flavors that I know I'll like. Guess I should try a new one huh?

wow pumpkin. that is very good kind of ice cream. ice cream maker here locally has not yet come up with such pumpkin ice cream. i would definitely buy that ice cream cause i love the taste of it and i wonder how they will taste like. i don't buy the limited edition that often because it is not cheap. i buy just regular flavor some special flavors which a little expensive but not as expensive as the limited edition we have here. i don't know in your place on how much are the limited edition ice cream if it is more expensive or just like the same price with traditional flavors. but it is really worth it to buy them cause they taste more creamy like they have more milk and not just more sugar. but if i do but it, i buy only a hlaf gallon and even smaller than that just for a try. i do mostly buy ice cream during dry season where in we really perspire a lot because of hot weather here in my tropical country. but as of now it is not yet hot. but by january it will start to get hot here.

The only thing I can really think of is Silk Soy Milk: during the Christmas/Winter season, they have "Silk Soy Nogg" (imitation egg-nog, obviously with no egg), Pumpkin Spice and Chai flavors. They are absolutely AMAZING! And definitley more interesting than the usual vanilla/chocolate routine. I highly suggest you try them! Pumpkin pie ice cream sounds SO good!

When it comes to Icecream, my favorite winter hiliday flavor is spumoni. It is three laayers of differnt flavored ice cream, Chocolate, pistachio and cherry, and in the cherry layer there is all kinds of dried fruits, like dried cherries, rasins, cranberries, apples, and pineapple. Yummm In the summer edy's has a Peach pie ice cream that is DELICIOUS. The pumpkin pie one is really good. We just started getting it back in our store this past week. Some people say it needs a little more pumpkin pie spice flavoring though. Depends on how you like it i suppose..

Coldstone Creamery has this amazing pumpkin ice cream thats just so good they start it in november and end it in January. They also make this great pepperment ice cream. Its so great with oreos. And this dark pepperment ice cream is even better. I love holiday stuff in the general. Holiday cookies are so great. Fresh homemade cookies are always amazing!
