Ramadhan is the fasting month. Eid is on the first day of the month after Ramadhan, Shawal. Eid ul-Fitr is the day we celebrated the end of holy month of fasting. In my country, it's know as Hari Raya AidilFitri. We don't use Eid here so it's confusing for me at first to response to this discussion.

Hi Prinzcy,
Thanks for educating me. I thought that both are different names for the same celebration. I didn’t think so deeply so thanks to daliaj too.
Hope you had a wonderful time and enjoyed the festival well.

Hi Prinzcy! Thank you so much for the information. I though Eid and Ramazhan, which we call Ramazan in my regional language are two different festivals. I know that there is a fasting before the festival. Can you please share more information regarding the fasting? I am intersted to know more about it. Thanks for the response.

Ramadhan is fasting day for mosleem. Ramadhan have 29 day, after ramadhan month called syawal month, that is arabic calendar. In 1st syawal called Ied. We get 3 day off in Ied, that use for mosleem to back to village were they are born to meet with all of separated family
