The first phone I own was a non-colored one. Colored phones before were still very pricey. but today, we still have some non-colored ones at home because we don't wanna give them away or throw them. We just use them as extra phones whenever we need another phone for emergency. I really think those old models are very durable. New models right now are easily wrecked and I really hate it when I need to get my new phone serviced again and again. So sometimes I settle with my old phone for a couple of days until I get my new phone fixed. :D

Yes i think for those phone we can say that they were made for calling, n due to that they were more reliable. in today's phone the good thing is that they have many features and we dont consider the call functionalities for them ever now. but the bad thing is that due to number of features they are very error prone. thanks for response

Some of the Nokia 1000 series phones are very basic,in that they don't have colour screens or WAP internet access-they'll just make calls and you can send text messages, and that's about it.not sure if they have games or anything, but the ones I've seen have a handy little LED light built in so you can see where you are in the dark!

I have Nokia 8890 as a back up phone & it's one of the most basic phones you can get. Screen is black & white & it doesn't have camera & I can't even access any pictures on it. I've used it quite few times & I wouldn't mind using it again if I didn't need some of the features of my current phone for work purpose.

My first phone was a samsung which was non colored. It was a nice phone as phones go. Since then, I have had all colored phones. I think the colored ones are much more classy than the black andwhite ones ever were. I would never go back to a black and white phone, even if they still existed, and I don't think they are. Ijust think the colored ones are prettier especially when it comes to doing things like the internet and videos. I have an LG enVTouch, and my best phone to date. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Yes, I used black and white handsets. In color when the phone did not come out. Now I use the color cell phone, there are also difficult to find black and white. If I get black and white. I'll use it. To recall previously.
