It is obvious by the non coverage that we have entered a new stage in this fight. HOW can an American president have so much control over the voices of the people, the media, the business and industry sector and almost all facets of our lives...does this not make all of you real nervous? When 2 million people gather and very little is said about it by the mainstream? I'm 52 and am seeing things this last year that I sometimes have to shake my head and pinch myself to make sure I am not having a nightmare...and we all just seem to accept it? Lethargy and apathy? Or something more sinister?

Washington is ignoring it too. Government is supposed to work for the peopel , but when people stand up and say what they want, government ignores it. I think it a good sign that something is wrong with the way government works now. Media for the most part is reporting what government wants media to report. I usually watch news from independent reporters. Russia Today is not afraid to speak up for example, they say it how it is and i found many interesting facts there that no other reporter wanted to say. I also like http://realityreport.blip.tv/posts?view=archive&nsfw=dc they have news comming out every few days and it's all political and all independant. They are also reporting things as they see it instead of saying what government wants them to say. To add to teaa party in DC there were also tea parties all over america where peopel who couldn't go to washington that day were voicing their oppinion. There was one not far from my house, here in long island. Adding up all those who attended all the tea parties all around US and you get an idea of what americans really want. Americans want their constitutional right that were slowly taken away by federal government. We want freedom, freedom and some more freedom. People are tired of politicians making up stupid laws that don't benefit any one other then politicians themselves and peopel want government to work for the people like it's supposed to. Unfortunatley i couldn't join the tea party, but i've been talking to some people who have and they all simply want to restore the republic and get rid of tyranny. Btw, if you want to get to know more peopel who are trying to fight corruption and tyranny, you might want to go to restoretherepublic.net, it's a comunity where peopel who think along these lines can talk and share their ideas.

just got an update there, this is what i got from one of the guys on the site "You all members all need to spread the word about Continental Congress 2009 Delegate voting going on right. Go to www.givemeliberty.org, pick you all's state and vote for those nominees you feel will best represent you your state. I am a nominee for Florida, so if any you all have kin here, please forward them this web site and have them vote also. My given name is Obdulio Garcia and I was born in Tampa, FL., africa like someone else we know, but says he was born in Hawaii? This is not a ACORN event either, so no worries about that. You all can ask me questions at my email duly239@yahoo.com if need be." See if you like the information he gives, i didn't have time to check it out, just got his message. I'm too sleepy to do it now, but wanted to give you heads up just in case. looks like the kind of guy that wants to do good for the nation, but have to check it out some more and look if they have any one in my state that i would want to vote for. PS: i also heard it was 2 million, but who knows... Even if it was half a million, it's more then enough to show what people really want. PPS: ron paul is trying to pass a bill that would make federal government show us where the money went. they want to make federal spendings a public thing. Last i hear it might work, but there are other things that might get attacked to the bill that might turn it into another useless bill.

http://www.diggersrealm.com/mt/archives/003225.html Okay I've been searching for pictures online and was kind of shocked at what I found. There are several links that say not available another one said 400 democrates voted to take this site down. People need to get over the political party thing here and work together. If they all did it, I hope they can just impeach him and we all can get back to trying to survive again.

The media labelled the tea party goers as "an angry mob" and "racist" and searched really hard for signs supporting those claims, whereas when libs demonstrate they totally ignore any crazies. Yet some people will still rant over there being one non liberal news channel..

That really doesn't surprise me. The media is all about Obama and is very liberal. I've read what Chuck Norris said and I agree with him! This country needs some serious prayers.

I saw coverage of it in CNN but it was very brief.. Nope sense the first one the media has pretty well decided to not really cover the Tea Parties anymore. THey figure if they don't really cover it then it did not really happen.

The Capitol Police in D.C. do not want to get involved with the 'count.' At least that's their excuse. I saw a picture of a huge crowd from the capitol roof on some conservative website. Wish I'd saved it. It was high-def and you zoom in. I had thought about going, but it didn't work out. Maybe next time.

It was mentioned in Time magazines recent story about Glenn Beck. However, it stated there was only 10,000 people and categorized these people as right wing extremists. The only pictures I have seen were the ones ran by Glenn Beck and Fox News. We can get mad about it, but the fact is the mainstream media ignore anything bad about President Barack Obama's administration and what they cannot ignore they will downplay. A good example is the ACORN story. Few mainstream media articles have ridiculed ACORN for their actions, however, many have attacked the people who created the video recording.
