What do you do to be happy?
Happiness differs from one person to another. Nevertheless every one wants to live with happiness.
One of the Indian philosophers define happiness as the unison of mind, body and soul.
Materialistic happiness is much different from spiritual happiness. Those who enjoyed the spiritual happiness say that is matchless and ultimate.
What do you say mylotters?

Hi vijayanths, I think of happiness as something that can only be achieved in the now. One has to BE happy and we can all be happy at anytime if we will allow it. It has nothing to do with material wealth or possessions but with accepting happiness in the moment. Many people say, I'll be happy when I get a better job or when I get a raise, others I'll be happy when I get married or when we have children. Still others will say, I'll be happy when the children are grown or when I retire. However, everyone must realize that happiness has nothing to do with outward appearances. We can only be happy now because it is the only time that we have, So whatever state we are in, let us learn to be content and to be happy. If you can't experience it now, you probably never well. Blessings.

wonderful response as usual from you Pose. It is true that happiness has nothing to do with outward appearances. We should enjoy the present fully. I am sure you would like my blog on this subject. I am giving the link for that blog for you to read.

you are very right philosopher ....
i think many times the path of being happy is more pleasant than reaching that goal...i have often felt this in my life..what u think is happiness is not many times...but just your liking or love for it is wonderful...dont always think that i will be happy if i get this or that...maybe you wont find it worth all your efforts..only believe in self..love God, love his creations and try to be happy with what you have..don't crave madly for anything..thats the secret of being happy

Happiness is simple for me. When my loved one is happy when I can help them that is my happiness. They say that happiness is inside your heart and mind. If in your self you are not happy you will never found it on anybody. I came to know a person who does not believe in happiness, she believe that life is full of problems and happiness will be have for a second. It is like a whole day of problems and sadness and three second of happiness. She was ver negative, I can't blame her, she came through even the deepest misery she had. I don't know how she survived. What i Know is now she is happy when her family is happy and she forget what is the meaning of happiness for herself. that person is ME.

Hi vijayanths...Oh wow..Happiness is such a broad subject when it comes to me. I have had so many problems with my life. To me happiness is being healthy and able to keep smiling. I wake up every morning and start my day with a cup of coffee and a big smile. Happiness makes the body feel better..Great discussion and have a great day.. Keep smiling..

Happiness for me is when you balance your emotions with your thinking ability, constantly facing life's challenges with the thought of "something better" coming your way. Happiness is being able face challenges and overcome them with a smile on your face and a smile on your heart.
