How Many friend do you have in your facebook. At first i only add a few people that i only know. Then i found a game, mafia wars games, in facebook, that i so addicted that at last i starting to make a guide for that game in my blog. And in my blog i also invite them to join my mafia family ( in game off course ).
Well, in a short time, i have many friend in facebook. Most of them is another mafia wars player that i dont even know. At last, i decide to make a new facebook id, and make my old id to become a connector beetwen me and my blog leader. After a year im doing that, now my friend list in facebook reach 1.125 person ( if you dont believe it you can c the image that i upload), and most of them add me ( not i add them ).
Now i use my facebook to promote my blog ( off course less then 4 link a day, to avoid being called a spam by facebook ).
Now how many friend do you have in your facebook?

I have less than 100 friends added at facebook. They are all my real life friends and family. Lately my hub play games using my facebook account and he adds his gamers friends with my account. I feel so annoy and I am going to ask him delete it. I don't like to add stranger in my facebook account.

LOL, well why not make your husband create his own facebook account. I see a few couple use the same facebook account and they will end up fighting since they doesn't have too much privacy with they adding people that are not familiar with the couple. Thanks.

Well My Lot sure is fun, but i think facebook and mylot has a different function. They all have its own strong point. Facebook is strong in is wall system, stat, privacy and apps. While mylot strong in discusion, task and off course payment.
And yeah, i have another facebook id which i only use for adding my friend only. The id i show you, is my facebook blog id. So with that i can communicate with my reader.

@Indahfth 1st post : yes, that what i planning too. I Only add people that i know, but because of the game, i add too many person. But in the end it still good coz i can communicate better with my blog reader. I also create another id especially use only for my frind.

Wow, that's lot, to have more than one thousand friends in Facebook. Most of my friends in Facebook are friends in real life too. I only have 4 to 5 of them are acquired through facebook game activities. I think the Facebook game strategy is good in expanding their network. Most games need more friends or participants for a player to gain upgrade advantage. Take Restaurant City for example, if you have more friend, you will get more new ingredients when you visit their restaurant for the first time. More ingredients will help you get more gourmet points faster, if we able to make use them appropriately.

Yes, most facebook apps and games use this strategy to create a cheap way to promote their apps / games. Banner and textlink is less effective then a word of mouth. So that what their strategy is. Having more user is the same with having more money to them, so they give more advantage to those who have more friend in the games.

Yes, it is a very easy way to make money for facebook and the game developer. I don't know how it work, did the adds pay facebook and game developer or it just pay the game developer only. Or there is two adds, adds from facebook and game developer. But for sure, they must be make a lot of money from it.

I have only few friends, in my facebook...If I didn't mistake there is 50 something. Because i'm really active in that sites...there are some invite me to join to the games but not accepted at the same time because have no time for the games yet...

OO i c, so you dont really active in games and apps. Thats ok coz facebook still fun with out apps and games. But make sure you try it if you have time. I reccomended mafia wars as your first apps / games coz im sure you will be addicted to it once you play the game.

OO I c so your not a game player, but still you are an apps user. Can you tell me what apps that you us aerous. Althought i like playing game, i dont really active in playing apps which not game. The only apps that i play is "Bagi-bagi duit" which is a local Money Making apps. By the way, who is John Chow? Sorry if i dont know him, because i am lack of information ( most of the time i spend on the net is playing games )

yeah, I joined 1 month ago...only because my sis is on there...I'm a myspace user mainly. Bejeweled is an app/game and you don't need any friends..It's a puzzle/tetris style game.

So it just been 1 month, so it is understandable. So are you planning to use facebook in the future, or you just stick to myspace? Me, my self never been using myspace, did myspace is better than facebook? Can you tell us what is the different beetwen myspace and facebook, and which is better from your point of view? And by the way, thanks for the information about bejeweled, i think i know that game now.

Oo so litlet. Do you join facebook just now? O yeah, what is bejeweled blitz? Is it some of apps / games in facebook? I never heard of its name? Is it good? Can you tell me about the apps / game? How does the gameplay of the games? And off course, is this game like most of facebook games which require you to make so many friend?

I am not using facebook that much... me use orkut some times Facebook....Facebook is a great timepass i heared from friends... let me add some of my friends ... as of now i dont have time to use that.. Will checkout later on yaar...
As of now i think i have around ten friends.. will increase my numbers... i have all my friends contact in mails and in orkut...

Orkut is nothing but making more friends website.... like Facebook ....
Wer you can upload Snap's, ur fav video's and so many.... you will get scraps from your friends so that you can share messeges..
Your friends can also write about you there is a option called "testimonials" - Anyone can write about you.. You will get fans and u will get updates of your friends birthdays. Also you can add your name in communities .. Search friends and request for their friendship once they approve you can also have chat with them online....

Not that many, I think about 10. I guess for internet addicts I'd be a practical joke but then again what would I care. I used to have some 30 or 40 but deleted all of those that meant nothing to me personally, so that explains my current number.

Wow 10 is so litle. So who is those lucky ten? Are they your family, your friend, your workmate, your girlfriend or other? So what you do in facebook with only 10 friendlist? And how about that 10, are they active playing facebook, becaue if they aren't then your facebook would be quite empty. But well, every one have their own way to enjoy facebook so nothing wrong about having only 10 friend. Thanks

I have about 180 friends in Facebook. Of course I dont know all of them. I dont why some people that I dont now always add me in Facebook. But I usually accept their invitation. Some of my friends I add or they add me is because the Texas Holdem Poker.

Well many people just add other person simply because they found that person attractive, even if they have no idea who is the person they add. And worse its, the picture in the id, might not even be the real person picture. But well, if you dont want unknown people add you, just make your picture private, especially your album picture.

i have a 200 friends in facebook. some of them is my friends in my campus, my senior high school and less of them is my forum friends. you are true, that facebook is god place to promote your blogs or your business online because many indonesian people must have a facebook account

Yes, facebook is famous all around the world. It may be the most popular social networking site right now. Having many friend is great, and using facebook for promoting your blog and you other program is fun. But make sure you not post more than 5 link a day, or facebook will think that you are a spam and then block your account.

lol. I only have 240 friends... I just recently purged my friend list, deleting all those that I really don't know well. lol. 
Anyway, I'm always the one who add friends, cause I had set my privacy setting to which that I can only be searched through email address or through name if you are a friend's friend.. I really don't like having a lot of friends, cause I really don't care what they are up to, and all of those stuff. Plus I don't like other people who I'm not close with to know what is happening with my life. hehehe.

I have not tried doing that, setting my privacy setting for my status.. i have only tried that with my pictures wherein I usually restrict the viewing to those who are actually there. I would play with my facebook later, and check out all their features as to privacy.

OO yeah, 240 friends is a lot too. So your privacy setting is set like that. That is why i like facebook, you can show off in the internet, but u can make sure that the only person who can search you is the person you wanted too.
If you dont want people to know what you are doing, but you cannot delete that person for some reason, try setting the privacy so that person cant c your update. I'll do that to a few of my not so close friend and it works like wonder.

Yes, you should try that privacy setting. It will be fun to update your status or wall post and only a person you want to know, know it. Even if you have other people as friend, as long as you setting your privacy, only person you want to update know what youve been up to in facebook.

My faceyspace really blew up, so to speak. When I first signed up, it was pretty much just my ex and a few friends. However since leaving my ex, I've gained a lot. Facebook has surpassed Livejournal on how I keep in touch with my friends and now some of my family. I even started a group for my business and play some of the games on there.

Yes, facebook is cool in so many way. But i never active in group coz i already active in other forum / site. And now i active in mylot too, so i cannot take to many forum at once. So i never paricitape in discusion on facebook. If i should make a discusion or particapate at one, i choose mylot as my discusion site.

i have more than a 100 friends in facebook and majority of them are my friends, classmates (elementary-college), family and friends. i've been hook to facebook before but not now... i am enjoying mylot and i will spend more time with mylot than facebook. i still visit facebook once a week to stay connected.

really, i just realized that the last time i updated my shoutout post was two months ago...gosh funny but true. my facebook activity now is only to check on my messages, reply back and accept friends invitation. i never tried playing their games. i am so stubborn to play web games. i am just so hook with mylot and nothing more!

Yes, like i said before mylot and facebook has it own strong point. I use facebook to connect and to promote my blog. But when i want to do some discusion, i dont use facebook group, isntead i use mylot. Facebook group thought fun, it have many limitation. So i choose mylot instead.

Yes, i know what you mean. Facebook is something i use every day, but i use it only a few minutes every day. I Usually use it to change status, post my newest update on my blog and replying my reader question. I dont active in group or other thing on facebook, but i play their game every now and then.
I Spend most of my net time in Mylot. Discusion, and making post. It fun after a while, now i forget that the reason i join is to making money.

I have under 100 friends on my Facebook page. I only add people whom I know. I see some people have many many friends and they just add people to add people. Some add people just for status to show how many people they can add to their page. There is nothing wrong with that at all. I have mostly friends, family, and people I have met along the way online. Most are family and friends though. Facebook is a way I keep in touch with people who I can't call everyday. Although I do have a few celebrites on there that I follow as well. Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with people whom you can't to on a regular basis!

yes i agree. Many people c facebook in many different way. Some use them to connect to each other, some just to have larger network in their bussiness. Many use them as a promotion tools. Other might use them for playing games and as stress reliever. And mostly people use many combination of it.

I have 64 friends. And in my friends list, I have my school friends, family and relatives and some other Facebook friends who I don't know but I still keep a little touch with them. You know it is good having lot of friends because when you interact with one or more people, you share some or the other information which one of you don't know. So, its good having many friends, you see. And not only this I also keep lot of friends as it helps in increasing my levels in many games.But recently I deleted a few friends as I was not chatting with them nor they were in any of the games.

Wow, you have so little friend in facebook. It even less then 1 % of my total friend in facebook. You must be make facebook a very private thing since you only have that few friend in facebook. I have about 94 friends on Facebook, and I do play a lot of FB games, but I have a strict rule about only friending people I actually know on FB. There is too much private information on there. I use it to update family and friends, share photos, talk about my kids, my job, etc. I do find it frustrating to try to play FB games because they require you to recruit people in order to advance through the game.

You shouldnt put many private information in facebook. Thought facebook have many lock in private information, but i still think the most safe way is not to put your very private information in the net. Yes, almost all the game in facebook is forced you to make so many friend. Well, it is a cheap way for them to promote their apps.

I only add the the friends that I know in person (with the exception of 2 people) on Facebook. I know with the game applications, you can potentially have many friends . . . but I go to Facebook to keep in contact with real friends - not play games. So currently I have just over 150 friends on my friendslist.

Wow so few friend. Well since you just join facebook for about 1 month, it is so understandable to have that few friend. But since you play game like farmville and mafia wars, my guess is, within a short time, you will be add more friend just to make them play the game with you.

Well I am about 150 Friends on my list cuz of that is some family, friends, business contacts. I also play on farm town and some other cool games on there so I think that help in having alot of friends too.

O i see, so which actually more give you friend, friend from the games or friend from your list of family, friend and business contact. Usually if you are a games that like playing game very much, then the friend actually come more from the games, but i don't know about you? Thanks.
