Why we can't edit or delete our post or dicussion in mylot?

myLot pays us for our participation here so, if we were able to edit or delete discussions, we would be interfering with their earnings algorithm. Consider if you start a discussion and people respond to you... those people get paid for their responses. If you were subsequently able to delete that discussion, anyone who responded to you would be negatively affected and they would lose their earnings too. It's different on sites where there is no compensation to the members... there, they tend to have more options and controls because their posting behaviors don't affect anyone else :)
