Another Mylot Maintenance, What is it this time?

hello again mylotters, I was about to close this computer last and attempt to make a discussion when mylot suddenly went down into Maintenance, which made my other supposed to be discussion disappeared. well, there's no point of making that discussion again since I was sleepy at that time.
I don't know what's going on because i lose that topic but am glad it was all over now. I am not sure if every one experience that, except in my country of-course, when almost every is asleep
..
Can any one guess what they did this time? add another feature or fix a glitch??

problem with me now is internet connection. i can't connect so i can't connect to mylot at night time using my mobile phone. that is one thing i know that i didn't experience the what you call maintenance last night. but with my dsl over here in the office, there are just slight disconnection from time to time.

i called up the customer service of the phone service provider and they said there is no problem with the area i'm located. there is also no problem with mylot, it's my connection to the internet, using my mobile phone.

Is it in your phone neil, well actually this has happened before, right, when they were dooing this maintenance for the past few hours at that time when we're mylot-darkness.1 person likes this

well i have seen it too that mylot has been into maintanence twice in these few days.Before i never seen mylot's such quick maintanence messages though.Well its not necessary they bring something new everytime with every maintanence, but they might also check with older posts, some new messages from us etc.So i think its just a regualr maintanence thing.

the last maintenance that they have took hours and when we log back in i saw the quizzes tab. i never took them, most specially when i saw that it's for US citizens only. yeah, it's better if they have maintenance

Yes, I also experience that too. I understand that is was not done very long. When it went down I just went to another website for about 2 hours. I check to see if mylot was back up after I left the other site and it was. I had to fix supper so I logged off and went back on later on the night.

i don't know the answer but one thing is sure... i experience the same way too. the whole day. but see i am not giving on mylot i am still here writing on, expressing my frustration...i was not able to reach my goal for day because of this problem.
i know this maintenance thing will benefit all of us... move on msfrancisco hehehehe!

Well sites do need maintenance, there is no point on getting frustrated just because of that. Evidently the site is fine. Just try again, give it another shot :)

Well, they didn't fix the underscored words in the discussions so have no clue what mylot was shut down for. I was sleeping at the time.

Even sometimes when i too post discussions i get the maintainance error but it is okay as they need to make the site free from unwanted posts
.If you remember the title of the discussion, then you can frame your discussion and write it next time.I think a that time mylot will be fixing a glitch so that the site is stable for many members to post their discussions.

doing this time but it really annoys me as I just'
found out my son did something that makes my earphones'not
work when he installed firefox to replace my internet explorer.i know he did not do this on purpose but since I am a computer dumbbell he will have to undo whatever it is when he comes to see me. now I cannot listen to my Mozart.boo hoo.oh well I shall live. I will have to resort to my book instead. myroomie is driving me nuts, and I need to relax before I go to bed.

Mylot has done popups on certain words on your discussion and response, it is just an advert that pops up.

Probably there was a glitch and they fix the problem but it seems that when ever they have maintenance, a new glitch keeps coming in with a new problem on the wake. just concern yourself of not getting kick out again.

Hi Letran, it was only down for a couple of minutes over here. Originally there had been those irritating blue lines underlining words, then they stopped, then after the essential maintenance bit they were back again, so I preusume it was down so they could annoy us some more with blue lines.
Also with the new and pointless change of being asked to tag on the comments we add to our own discussions. So an update to slow us down and irritate it would appear.

is it just me who dont know much about mylot being down for a couple of hours? minutes? well anyways, i still got the words with blue lines on them. is that part of their maintenance glitch or an upgrade? i do read here its a jave script. what is it really for... oh! maybe when this discussion is made i was fast asleep with my pillows all over the bed...

I don't know about this. I just log-in today. but i believe every site has a down time for maintenance, and mylot is no excuse. it's better for the site to have repairs rather than having a site not maintained and all of a sudden,shutdown with no reason. you shouldn't bother yourself with it.
