you should come to india and see the tv shows out here
they r the worst of all time
all the shows are mostly 85% soaps
and the rest 15% arent funny even though they r supposed to be comedy shows
all the reality shows we have here are ripped off frm american shows like american idol,so you think u can dance,dancing with the stars,i am a celeb get me out of the jungle,amazing race,apprentice etc...
and the worst part is you have 4-5 channels havin the same sort of reality shows
i wud recommend you to see shows like lost,24,how i met your mother,desperate housewives,glee etc which come on usa's channels

I do agree with you that much of what's on television today leaves very much to be desired. I find I watch reruns of some of my favorite shows of the 80's instead of watching something current. Take The Golden Girls for example. I watch the reruns of TGG all the time. I just don't get the majority of tv shows today. Other than a few exceptions, tv today is disappointing to say the least.

In my opinion there have been a number of good and very good new shows recentley. I also am a fan of various classic shows to and have been watching reruns.

There was a time, when stations were repeating good classics, showing them, often.
I never got fed up with watching 70's shows like Starsky, Hutch, I must had watched
the repeats, a million times, over the years, still as enjoyable, as the first time
around.
We all need a laugh, sometimes, come Christmas time, they repeat the shows OK, they
are usually ones, with bad language, no real story to them, when, there were so many they could had picked, they choice the worst of the lot.
We, as a viewer, who pays for these people to grace our screens, should be able to vote for our favourite shows, then, no-one, can complain, "Not that one again"..

Voting for the shows to be shown could be a very good idea! Yes I think their can be some very good TV alongside the not so good, sometimes the lesser well known digital channels can have some intreasting 'user generated' which can be good so I recommened ,maybe looking at some of these channels.

Yea I actually also think that TV really does honestly suck, I don't know why but they never tend to put movies on, at least in my country they don't. I have no idea why, it is just not fair, they always put boring things on. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I do not have that many channel but you are right there was not much on TV. The new season is starting so there should be more to view. I like to watch all the CSI shows and the new NCIS is good.

TV would have to improve to get to sucks. Try reading a book. There are many great ones out there and it seems like the more books I read, the more I want to read.

Yes TV does suck especially during the summer months. The new season is starting so maybe there will be more to choose from. You should check out ABC tonight for Fastforward that looks like its going to be really different and very good.
