Is there TOO much in GIVING?

We all know that too much for soemthing is not good. But I was wondering if there's an exemption to this beliefs. On giving and helping others, do you think TOO much is not good?

well see i think your happiness knows no bounds when you are into giving, because giving has that extra happiness that we cannot get when we take something from others.:)
I never accept gifts but i am always happy to give gifts to my friends during their birthdays or any occassions, but i seriously hate people who take me for granted.
