I know this is a strange and funny question but I seriously want to know how many of you brush your teeth daily? I am asking this question because there are many whom I know who actually do not brush their teeth daily, leading to quite a bad breath.

It's a obsession that I have ever since I was little. I would brush them everyday but then there are those times when I get so tired where unfortunately, I would wake up and just go ahead and brush my teeth in the middle of the time from falling asleep. But before I hit the bed, I would floss them before brushing them. That way, you won't get bad breath. I am surprise that not everyone use a fental floss which is recommended because even with a mouthwash, you still get bad breath faster than people that don't use dental floss. My oldest though would brush her teeth every night before hitting the bed. My second daughter sometimes falls asleep on the couch or however so she doesn't brush them everyday which I know they should and sometimes my third one just won't cooperate at all for brushing her teeth and she's almost 2 years old.

HEY lauriehomebusiness Yes, people sometimes don't brush their teeth and just rinse their mouth only with water. And thats bad for their teeth. At least if you are not brushing you should rinse them with any dental floss. And usually small children will not have the habit of brushing their teeth but as they grow, they will learn about brushing their teeth daily and will start too.So, hope your daughter will start brushing her teeth soon. Have a nice day!:)

Thanks. And I do agree that it is just nasty just rinsing your mouth out with water. What's the fun in that for not working hard to make your teeth as healthy as it should? My oldest already got rubbed off to brush her teeth and so far from her last dental checkup, she didn't have any cavities. But the other two need their teeth to get use to brushing their teeth but it's harder when it's so late and way past their bedtime.

Yea, I believe you. Its just very nasty. And surely your other two kids will also start brushing their teeth if they get to know the problems they will face if they don't brush everyday. Happy mylotting!

Ewwww-don't brush daily?! I brush twice a day..once in the morning and once at night before bedtime. I do this because I'm a smoker and I don't want bad breath or yellow teeth. I also have a tongue scrapper I use before I brush. Not to mention flossing is important too.

Hey faikeijames... Its really great that you brush twice a day and maintain your teeth so well. And yea flossing is also very important as it prevents tooth decay, gum disease and bad breath too. Have a great day!

Thanks! I wouldn't do that much for my teeth if I wasn't a smoker...lol I'd brush only once a day, but I can't stand a person that drinks coffee (and I do) and smoke..ewww what a smell!

I brush my teeth in the morning and night daily. The people who don't brush their teeth daily don't think about other's feeling. But most people brush their teeth just for other's feeling and don't attach importance to the health of their teeth.Just bushing teeth in the morning everyday is not enough. We should not only consider other's feeling, but also pay attention to our teeth. If you brush your teeth after every meal, your will have a good breath, your teeth will be healthy and don't have to see doctor.

Hey yuhongchao Some people don't brush their teeth even one time, so for them is is far away to brush two times daily. And yea mostly people brush their teeth because they know that they will have a foul breath if they don't and that will bother other people. But at the same time even if they don't care about themselves and care about others, they are indirectly taking care of themselves and that's good. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Sheen13, I think its very important brushing the teeth not just after waking up but after every meal. This way we our teeth are always clean and sparkling white. I make sure I brush my teeth in the morning and before I sleep in the night. I also use a mouth rinser other than brushing my teeth. This way I keep my teeth sparkling white and also have a good breath. It is very annoying to talk to people who have a bad breath. Have a good day and Happy My Lot-in. TC :)

hey zaneclan Yes, brushing your teeth after every meal, that is wonderful, very less people get time to brush their teeth after EVERY meal. And even after brushing after every meal you use a mouth rinser, thats great! People will love talking with you for sure. Have a nice day!:)

hey Naaz You are right that you should not just rinse your mouth with water every time. If you want to rinse, you should use a dental floss. But as you said you don't do it every time, so thats good. And not only no one will come near us but it will also look very ugly having yellow teeth.lolz Have a great smile!:)

I brush my teeth at the least twice a day, for the most part I brush them three times. I will brush them in the morning when I get cleaned up and the in the evening as I head off to bed. There are a lot of times that I will brush after lunch or dinner if I can get the time but if I don't get that chance I will at least get them brushed twice a day. I think bad breath is nasty and don't understand why people that have the ability to don't take the time to brush their teeth or take some mouthwash to get rid of the stink.

Hey froggieslover.. Its good that you are very considerate about your oral hygiene and particualrly about the foul breath. Actually foul breath is very nasty and gets on my nerves as well. Very few people get time to brush their teeth 3 times a day. And thats too good you are one of them. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Sheen I brush my teeth twice sometimes 3 times a day but mostly twice you should floss too brushing alone doesn't cut it got to get that food in between the teeth and brush your tongue too I have an electronic toothbrush I love it because it gets all the nooks and crannys but nothing beats flossing for really getting in between the teeth. After that a little Listerine and I'm all set I like the fresh from the dentist feeling but I must admit sometimes I don't feel like brushing my teeth at night and there have been times when I didn't I just rinsed with Listerine or water..I'm being honest about it LOL not everyone brushes their teeth before bed every day of their lives but I must say I do brush 97% of the time before bed. If I brush a couple hours after dinner I don't feel the need to brush before bed LOL

Hi cherry41, Its wonderful that you brush your teeth twice and sometimes 3 times a day as well.I too have an electronic brush and love it as it automatically helps to clean the food stuck between the teeth. And rinsing your mouth with Listerine or water is even good. If you don't want to brush your teeth, rinsing is a very good idea. Have a good day!
