I've actually read about this already and to tell you truth it scared me to use the Microwave again. But there were also some rebuttal to this which made me confused which to believe.
I read that according to National Health and Medical Research Council. There is nothing to worry if your microwave is in good condition and is used according to the instructions of the manufacturer. It is safe to use provided these suggestions are followed:
1.Investigate the door of your microwave oven regularly to check for corrosion or damage, and that it fits securely
2.Don't ever tamper with or inactivate the interlocking devices. These are designed to halt the production of microwaves the moment the latch is given out or the door opened.
3.Don't forget to clean the oven regularly to make sure that no burnt food are stuck to the interior and door.
4.Don’t turn on or run the microwave oven when it’s empty.
5.Have your microwave oven tested for leaks at an appropriate repair shop if you are doubtful of your machine.
So which now should I believe.
Well, I'd rather be on the safe side. I am now not using the Microwave, anyway there are so many unquestionable and undisputed alternative.

Microwaved Water - See
What It Does To Plants
4-13-6
Our thanks to Marshall Dudley of Knoxville, TN for sharing his granddaughter, Arielle Reynolds', experiment with us. Both Arielle's mother, Christina, and Grandpa have much to be proud of. Congratulations, Arielle, well done!
Below is a sience fair project that my granddaughter did for 2006. In it she took filered water and divided it into two parts. The first part she heated to boiling in a pan on the stove, and the second part she heated to boiling in a microwave. Then after cooling she used the water to water two identical plants to see if there would be any difference in the growth between the normal boiled water and the water boiled in a microwave. She was thinking that the structure or energy of the water may be compromised by microwave. As it turned out, even she was amazed at the difference.
