I read this today and am a bit disappointed. I really like him. He was quite underused lately though. What do you think, was the writing on the wall?

While AMC fans wait for an official statement to announce which stars will be relocating with the show to Los Angeles, a show spokesperson has confirmed that Aiden Turner won't have to decide if he wants to uproot. Aidan will be written out in a story-dictated exit before production moves west.
Aiden Turner (Aidan Devane) will not be joining All My Children when the show relocates to Los Angeles early next year. It isn't because the actor doesn't want to uproot his life. In fact, the Emmy-nominated actor has expressed his desire to make the westward move. In a somewhat surprising casting decision, All My Children has informed Turner that his character will be written out of the show.

I turned against the character when he made such a sudden turn against Annie. The character certainly hadn't been as much of a good guy as he had been in the past for a couple of years or so and the turning on Annie was the final blow for me. Aiden the actor has certainly enjoyed having love scenes with some of the most beautiful women who have been on the show. The top ones were Maria(Eva LaRue), Mia(Amelia Heinle) and Annie(Melissa Claire Egan).

Budget cuts the reason? I would bet that is definitely a soap actor that either gets on another soap opera, or gets a part in a pilot series that eventually gets picked up for a network show. He has that kind of look to him. I think he is on to bigger and better things from here. Although I'm sure he probably doesn't feel that way right now.

If not for the accent (and maybe he could mask it), he could play his brother. However, even though the CW ordered six new episodes of Melrose Place, it is far from a full season order. The ratings are low, but with Heather Locklear coming in November, there might still be a show for the Colin dude. 'Cause he's cute!

I am really going to miss Aiden Turner on all my children. you are right about him being underused on the show. i saw him back on yesterday,hope they change their mind's and keep him. 1 person likes this

I never did understand that characters "purpose"in the show...BUT....... if he is being written out....WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BET AIDEN WILL BE THE ONE FINALLY REVEALED AS STUARTS KILLER!?!?!?!?!?!??!? Gotta be someone that is expendable...and if he isn't staying with the how....he is the perfect culprit!!! Guess we'll see!

I think he was at the house when Stuart was killed. Nobody believes Annie that Emma did it. The only thing is why would Annie tell Emma not to tell. Does she feel sorry for Aiden even though he turned on her. I guess that mean we will not fine out the killer for at least 3 more month. OH NO!!!

Oh Cool!! only 3 more months! That's great!!!! I was sure it would go well into February sweeps before they decided who it would be!!!! Does anyone care anymore? I dont. Especially if they have Emma be it. She couldn't have pulled that trigger anyway...she isn't strong enough. But Adam keeps having these funny "episodes' wehre he remembers odd things...then the other day Stuart appeared to him and said..something like (as Adam was kind of collasping) "did someone shoot you to?" Which only make be think, as I have for some time...I wonder if it was really Adam that got shot...and Stuart is portraying Adam until the killer is found. But hey..only 3 more months! Can't wait!!!LOL!!

you beat me to posting it! yeah i had heard it too but honestly even though i liked im they killed his character! i mean him with greenlee i liked.. this annie and him bs was crazy and then him being all skitzo on if he was on annies side or some one elses was annoying!! and every time they show him now it seems like he is about to get hit by zach which if zach is gonna be pissed at anyone kendall was with while she was married he should be beating on ryan!!
i just wonder how they are gonna get rid of him.. imean the last we seen was him taking kendalls tv.. be kind of weird if he never comes back and looks like some robber haha

I'm going to miss him too. I guess he could always show up on General Hospital since his character is connected there through Anna.
