How many are extremely irked by the new blue words thing?

I just am very much irritated by the way that some of the words in our posts now become a link to an advertisement, and if you hover over them it opens a little window. I just sent a message to Mylot suggesting that they remove this feature, is anyone else so irked by it that they are willing to send a message to mylot suggesting that they get rid of it?

I am using IE7 and XP and I do not get these blue links that are annoying others. I haven't understood if it depends on location or a different browser yet as to why I am not getting them.

I believe that it is the browser you are using or a combination of IE and XP. You have an older version of IE that apparently doesn't support the links. From my experience with them, though, that is not a bad thing.

They coded it to check which browser you are using and then return the appropriate page (i.e. with links for browsers that can handle them and no links for IE).

Judging by what others say, in that case I hope it stays that way

They don't bother me most of the time, but they are rather annoying when the box opens and I can't read the discussion or responses. I guess I can get used to it if it helps to keep the site and the payouts going, though.

Yup, just discovered those darn things today...can't say I like them very much...but remember, it's all for advertizing money. The more money Mylot gets, the more money will get.

Sometimes my curser on my laptop choooses to go where it wants to go, even if I am nowhere near the touch pad. When this happens, those damn blue words are activated, and I have to figure out how to turn them off again. Very annoying. I think it might be a new advertizing method, or something.
