I agree with Mr. Wxy! The work would be enjoyable if the VPs would stay in their sandbox! Why does everyone in corporate America have to hold their breath and stand at attention when the VP comes through?

Interesting. It seems to be the situation for many of us. Perhaps when the organization is quite complicated, there is a certain sense of awe and bewilderment when a VP is around? What do you think?

Unfortunately there is a certain sense of supervisors and managers afraid of getting in trouble for not being in absolute control of their employees. Yes this was the directions from the management themselves. Try not to talk to much and get rid of anything that is not related to the company! Hence telling the employee they are far less important then upper management.

I think the upper floor gives a really funny and reasonable explanation. Maybe almost of us have the feeling just like Mr. Wxy, for example, we can't wait the waiting to get paid every month, but maybe just a few are enjoying their work when they are working.

Interesting. It seems to be the situation for many of us. It is truly a rare gift to find one's self enjoying one's work. There seem to be no easy formula getting into that situation. It seems to happen by chance? What do you think?

I think Mr. Wxy is suggesting the job gives him a source of income. It seems the work, what ever it is, may not feel good for Mr. Wxy. If he hates it, perhaps he's hanging on because of the economic crisis?

Interesting. It seems to be the situation for many of us. "They say work work is something you have to do when you really want to be dong something else." What do you think?
