Her name is Alexis Jayne and she was born 7pound13 via emergency c-section. She has just started smiling in the last week:)

That's awesome! Congratulations! My sister's first was 1 month yesterday. My sister lives with me, so I get plenty of spoiling time with new baby ;) Good luck with everything!

Are you getting the sleepless nights too? :)

No, I'm surprised, she's not a very screamy baby; and she's in my sister's room so she usually doesn't have to fuss long before Liz is up and gets her. I never hear a thing.

Congratulations. kimmijayne!! It's great to be someone's parent huh? There will be more heart-melting moments to come in the future. Seems like my girl was born last week but truth is, she's now 7 months old! Time really passes by so fast... There are moments my baby girl makes me go crazy, but it's a very enjoyable journey, I promise you. Have a great time with your child!

Congratulations on you having your dear little baby girl. I think Alexis Jayne is a very pretty name. It is lovely that she has began giving you magic little smiles. My baby girl, Amber Lauren Holly, was born twelve weeks ago. I remember when she began smiling and it was really special.

Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl. I bet seeing her smile just makes your day. I have my own little bundle of joy he's 8 months old. I remember seeing his smile for the first time it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Time passes so quickly he is crawling around and talking in his little gibberish with the exception of a few words, he even claps and dances to music. Isn't just the most amazing thing to see your little one growing. Cherish every moment I know I am.

Congratulations on your new baby. I love the name! I am so happy you made it through an emergency c-section okay! Enjoy the early moments, they don't last long enough! I hope you are getting some sleep and help around the house :)
