Over the last two days I have watched the last two Batmans that where made and everytime I watch it I am even more amazed. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the older installments of the film, but the last two that where made are completely amazing. It shows a whole other side of Batman. A darker more intense style that unless you read the comics. Plus how can you go wrong with the Joker in The Dark Knight. Compared to Jacks version Ledger just dominates the screen and makes the Joker a more darker character who is a lose cannon with all his marbles even though he appears to be insane. The series introduces the Scarecrow who is one of the most famous Batman characters, but everyone forgets since he was never introduced in the older movies. Maybe it is just me, but even according to the numbers the newer Batman movies are so much better. I would like to know why you like or dislike the newer versions of Batman. I am interested to hear your side of it!

Oh, I totally agree these "new" Dark Knight movies are just AWESOME. I thought Heath Ledger's Joker was great - and in some ways, I'd rather they didn't recast the Joker and let Ledger's stand as the ideal - I never really cared for the Joker in any previous incarnations (well, the comics sometimes) but the other movies and the TV show he was just a joke... (pausing for the groan) I remember, barely, Scarecrow from the comics, but since its been a long time since I've read any of them, probably the '70's since some serious comic reading, I really didn't see too many of the "classic" villains in them...
