I also noticed that there are many chocolate lovers here. I had a discussion about chocolates and there were many who responded to that discussion which proves that there are really many who love chocolates. With regard to your question, ''How to Choose Chocolate that's High Quality and Tastes Good'', there is no hard and fast rule to this. There are chocolates which look nice and delicious but when get a bite, its taste isn't so good. Not all expensive chocolates are delicious . In fact, there are many cheap chocolate bars which taste better than the expensive ones. I still prefer to buy brands of chocolates which I have proven to be delicious.

Hello Dorisday, Thanks for your response. Yeah, I agree with you , not only branded chocolate are tasty. Those simple bar of chocolate from Cardbury is nice too. Me too still prefer good brand of chocolates. Why we always need to pay more for high quality chocolates... In fact, there are certain things to know and look for when we buy chocolate. It is always good to get quality chocolate . The drawback with buying prepackaged products is that you can’t see what you’re getting. Start with the ingredient list, then try out several different brands. In time you’ll find the right one. Other than ingredients, do check for its appearance , aroma, and more.

Here in US , there's several little stores that actually sell homemade chocolate and candy. And lucky me my home state is the home for Hershey, the really good and affordable chocolate...LOL. I guess it depend on how people like their chocolate.

Oh, my! One discussion about junk food and the other about chocolate. High quality chocolate tastes good and is not junk food :-) I read the ingredients label! If the first ingredient is sugar then it is junk food. But the manufacturers are sneaky and they might have 4 different kinds of sugary stuff all added together so that sugar is not at the top of the list, but if you add them all together it would be. So you think maybe the first ingredient is chocolate, but it isn't. So I count how many different kinds of sugar are in there, too. Chocolate does not taste very good without some sugar but to my thinking, neither does it taste good if it is too sweet.

well dark chocolate as what i have known has bigger quality in it. because it was said that they are good for our health. experts says they have bioflavinoids that stop certain bad processes in your body(quoted from my friend Hatley). and i am glad i did read about that. because i do love chocolate even if i am not suppose to eat much of it. its bad for me because i might end up having diabetes. its in my blood, you know. jhelai
