my children are now teenagers ... (oops even "twenty"-agers now, lol) but they still have stuff toys in their rooms and still love to hug them. my teenage daughter has Sponge Bob for herself and she sleeps with it and even uses it as pillow during their in-house review away from the house for a month. do u have teenagers who have not outgrown stuffed toys too? please share ...

My oldest two are 13, so I suppose they are technically teenagers, even though my mind has difficulty grasping this. They still have tons of stuffed animals. They play with those, WEbKinz, Barbi dolls, and even baby dolls. Of course, they have two younger sisters who are always wanting them to play house or other games of the sort, so that could be what is keeping them playing with the toys.
Of course, I am almost 30, and I still have a select few of my childhood stuffed animals that I turn to when I am upset about something. "Snuggles" still gets showered with tears when I am in a down mood. I think that stuffed animals is something that isn't necessarily something you outgrow. There is always comfort in them, and they will never mistreat you!

I am a mom and my little son who is four years old loves stuffed toys. But along with him I too enjoy stuffed toys. My sister who is married still owns a stuffed toy - a pink panther that she had since her teenage years. I dont think there is any problem with stuffed toys or with enjoying stuffed toys in any age. It just displays the soft part of your nature and there is a little child in every one of us.

Only one still has all of her stuffed toys, even the one her older sister bought for her when she was born. Lately though she's been generously given some small ones to our kitten who is beating the heck out of them.

i think children have their favorite toys. my son who is already 3rd year college is still having some of his toys in a drawer in his room. i teased him when i saw the toys. i know why he is keeping them though, they were good ferrari car models which we exchanged for points and some extra money in a gas station.
my daughter's favorite is the sponge bob stuffed toy while my oldest son has some small toys that he own from a game center in a mall.

Even at the age of 29, i still have a few stuffed animals kicking around that i have had since i was quite small and still have sentimental attatchment to. they might not take up the prized position of being on my bed, and they may have been resigned to a shelf or a closet, but i still have them and wouldn't give them up!
