Should adults collect toys?

I'm a thirty year old male whom still loves toys. I collect a variety of toys based on my love for the cartoon series e.g. Transformers. Also nostalgia plays a part or just pure asthetic & good toy engineering appeal. All of my toys end up in sealed displays, one of which is prominently set up in my loung room, my wife doesn't share my interest in toys, but she does adore them, hence the lounge room display. The same way you don't understand your friends fascination with toys, I don't understand most mens interest in sports. But just because I'd rather watch paint dry than sit down & watch a football game etc, doesn't mean I should concern myself with why I don't enjoy watching sports. Mind you, (for some perspective) I'm a seasoned skateboarder & I'm a fan of muscle cars. God gave us all free will & individuality... that's all you really need to know, unless of course you wish to delve into the many psychcological aspects of collecting.

I see nothing wrong with collecting toys even if you are an adult.who says toys are exclusively for kids?I have a collection of teddy bears,pig,and panda.most of these are plush toys.for me,collecting what people deemed as kid's stuff makes a person youthful.s/he is in touch with his/her inner child.

Why not? I still like cartoon movies. So if like your meaning. i am an adult. i can not see cartoon movies. I think its normal for one have those hobbies. Have a good time.

yes of course. collecting toys does not have to be just for kids only. i still collect toys and i am in my 20s. i like toys from disney movies, transformers, pokemon, etc. i have friends my age and older too who still collect toys.
