We Won The Euro Lottery

I kid you not. Mr and Mrs P1ke are Euro winners! The Boss bought a Euro Lottery ticket for last night's draw and came into the bedroom this morning exclaiming that we had won! Of course I smiled indulgently and said "Yes Dear" and reminded myself to check the numbers myself. When I did, you could have blown me down with a feather. She was right. We have won! Now, whatever shall we spend our £5.20 on. Any ideas?

We went out to lunch Gabs and it bought us a drink each! A scented candle sounds good though. What scent - lavender, vanilla?

I saw some tonight in Waitrose for less than that Gabs. £3 something I think. The posh ones were £9 though! That's a lot of smell!

I would invest the money on another lottery ticket! Haven't you ever heard the old saying...it takes money to make money, P1key?? OR you could invest two pennies and buy two plane tickets to get you "close" to somewhere you want to go! Otherwise, you might just spend all that do re mi on something Useless!!! Congratulations on your Huge Win!!

That's what I use my myLot earnings for too. That and paying for my daughter to catch buses to London when she is home from the US.

LOL....you could call that penny airline and book the whole plane. With no luggage or food, of course. Oh heck, since you'll be the only ones on the flight, go ahead and spring for the check-in fee. During the flight, if the bored attendants offer assistance, to break their own boredom...charge them for the pleasure.

We did spend it on (drinks) lunch. But not at McDonald's. They'd have to pay me to eat there.

Yeah, they would have to pay me too, but it was the cheapest, nastiest place I could think of...LOL

I don't know what that will buy but you might go out to a nice tea room and enjoy some indulgent tea and biscuits. You could rent a movie and cuddle on the couch or send it to your daughter for extra spending money--she should be able to have a meal at a nice casual restaurant with that much and maybe even pay for half of a friend's meal!

How about 520 of those one penny flights? Don't know what the exchange rate is, but if we were talking dollars, that would just about buy one meal at Taco Bell. Enjoy and don't forget the hot sauce!

Given the value of the US dollar at the moment, 5.20 Euros would be about 15c!

That's worth about $8.20 CAD, and that's ust about enough for two medium mocha lattes at Second Cup in Canada. So, why not come to Canada, go to Second Cup, and treat Mrs. P and yourself to a nice, hot, steamy, foamy,, creammy, chocolately, delicious, mocha latte from Second Cup!!!
