Do you advertize for eachother for free on your websites? There are a number of local businesses here in Guelph owned by friends of mine. The people were either friends before owning the businesses, or they became friends of mine becauuse I met them through the businesses they owned. When my husband and I decided to create a new website for our writing, we decided that it would be a good idea too try and promote these local businesses, especially the really small ones that did not have websites of our own. This is not only to get the word out, but also, to give them some on-line exposure, and a link to give others. "No, I don't have a website for the store, but if you look at this lady's writing website, you will see some information under the 'links section.'" This is good for them because they have on-line exposure, and it's good for me, because in having that exposure, they are drawing people to my website, and some also allow me to have my business cards in their stores. Do you also do free advertizing for friends? Do they do free advertizing for you?
