I like watching CSI Miami a lot, but Horatio turns me off, how about you?

I love watching CSI Miami. I think it's a bankable spin-off of the CSI franchise, albeit more sophisticated and stylish. For example, no actor in CSI Miami would be caught wearing Grissom's threadbare outfits. Don't get me wrong, I love Grissom's character, and miss him terribly now that he's gone from the original CSI. But sometimes, I like to see more sophistication in wardrobe and sets, not just drab lab scenes of dead people lying around. Besides, if you're a CSI in Miami, you would have to succumb to fashion sense even when you walk in the streets. But I honestly, I just find Horatio too much. He's always trying to look cute, even when he's not and he's rather old. I don't mind Adam Rodriguez or Emily Procter trying to look cute, but who is Horatio fooling? I wonder if anyone out there feels the same way as I do.

I love all CSI shows. I also like all 3 department heads. They all have unique characteristics. I used to get irate with Horatio and his soft voice but now I started to get used to it. In fact, I am looking forward in hearing his voice and seeing his gestures. I think they made him do that so he can have distinction from the others. I think a high ranking officer's role must be known and distinguishable from the others so he can out-stand from all.

This is a really good discussion and I am sure that a lot of people like watching the CSI shows, and I know I definitely do,I love the CSI Miami,CSI,and CSI New York because they are awesome shows, and I like watching them use the evidence to figure out how sdomeone was murdered and who murdered them, and I would say Miami is one of my favorite out of the three, and I think Horatio Caine is a good actor and I think Miami would not be what it is without him,and if Horatio left CSI Miami I would probably stop watching, because it was bad enough when Grissom left CSI and I do not think anyone could do Horatio's job other than him,not even one of the other of CSI's and me and my wife watch the new episodes of CSI Miami,NCIS,NCIS Los Angelas,Criminal Minds,CSI New York, and CSI every week, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I don't care for Miami as much. I've gotten into the reruns of New York lately and those are pretty good. The best part about Miami, for me, is Adam Rodriguez and Brendan Fehr working together again (they were both on Roswell, what seems like forever ago). Las Vegas will always be my first favorite, even without two of my three favorite characters (as long as we keep Greg-o I'll be a happy clam).

I like CSI:Miami and I don't mind the Horatio character, but you are right: his posturing and posing is a bit irritating--almost to the point of being a satire of himself. Then there are the pauses and stupidly obvious pronouncements he make right before they cut to a commercial. I find myself saying "this is so stupid!" But I still watch it.
