At the most, there are only 500 left of the monkey-eating Eagle which has since been renamed as the Philippine eagle. What's so rare about this eagle? This eagle is almost four feet tall, weighs about 15 pounds, with a wingspan of six feet! This eagle species was renamed because as it turns out, it doesn't just eat small monkeys, but any creature out there in the wild which is within the eagle's reach and worth its time (small dogs, cats, piglets included). As the rain forests in the Philippines have attritioned at an alarming rate, so did the population of the Philippine eagle. Can something really be done to save this beloved species from perishing on the face of the earth? Do you think it's too late by now, bye bye eagle. Or do you have a plan that might just work, no matter how weird it sounds? C'mon, share it in this discussion, the clock is ticking for this rare animal! Can we save it in time?
