Lets say that your an army and you're in the middle of the battle. After a long exchange of gun fire you saw your enemy asking help from you because he is wounded. Would you help him or your going to shoot him? If I'm in this situation honestly I really don't know what to do. but how about you? what would you do?

Sure, if he (or she) agrees to surrender, give me all weapons, and become a prisoner of war. In fact, ideally, that is what everyone should do according to the Geneva Convention. I was never in the military so I don't know if there are any exceptions "out in the field." Now that I have learned a lot from the Bush administration, I hope we can raise the United States up again to rejoin civilization.

yeah.. before helping him/her we should take all his/her weapons first that's what we have to do first..

i agree on you qaeyious, he need to drop everything before i will help him.. better protect myself first before thinking to help him.. maybe it's just a trap or something, so like you it's better to be wise..

I might not be helping him because I will be in a battle where both have accepted to fight their enemies instead of making friendship so I will do my duty of a warrior though and fight back.

Yes we have our duty but we have the choice to help the one in need or to let him die without helping him. But you have a point thanks for your response.
