do all cats meow?

he was still a very small kitten when we found him in the front gate of our house, drenched in rain. we took him inside and adopted him. he was a lovely kitten but he was so silent and we didn't even get to hear him meow. if we are lucky, we sometimes hear his faint meow when he is taken for a bath. does ur pet cat meow?

My youngest cat Tiger used to be the same way. She was always quite and never meowed. Then when she first went into heat we heard awful meows coming form her. She only meows when she is in heat though so it isn't that bad. My oldest cat meows sometimes but she oinks too. No lie when we brought the kitten home she oinked at it,snorted ya know

must be a pig-cat then? lol.
yeah, now i know that all cats meow although they vary on when and how loud/faint they do this. i am really smiling of ur cat oinking,

It is quite funny to have my cat Oreo oink in front of company,she is a hoot at parties this is for sure!

well ,glad you brought up this topics,my cat meow often times when were eating or heard plates putting our table.my cat is very sweet that she brush her skin hair in my feet.she even sleep besides me.if my cat is sick she just sleep and sometimes i hear meow so soft.

hello again moneymaking today,
Well, yeah but not all of them. some meows a little frequent and some just meows lightly. white cats are popular not meowing that much and frequently just be silent and doesn't talk that much.i had a white cat twice and both of them rarely meows. but they're not around my house anymore. that is so kind of you to take care of them. have a great day

hi letranknight.
my daughter's cat is the one that doesn't meow (it does actually, but very softly). on sept. 28, we got 3 little kittens from a friend, 2 are white and the other with light yellow/white color. at first, my daughter's bigger cat seemed to act like it felt jealous because attention quickly shifted to the 3 new kittens. we didn't see him for 2 days inside the house but after a few days more, he befriended the 3 new kittens ... what funny thing happened today was .. he is acting like a "mom" to the 3 kittens... here is a pic showing him squeezing himself into the little basket we had for the 3 little ones. my daughter texted that they all fell down from the little basket ... what with all 4 of them inside! we are just enjoying them right now. have a great day, too.
