Hello friends, I am curious if you have written or read any good poems lately. I'm trying to get to the point where I can write as least one good poem a day. I haven't written one for today yet. Wondering if you've come across any during your past travels that you'd just like to share. If so please feel free to do so here. BTW I came across a rather interesting one the other day. It was on a website so I'm not going to try to quote it verbatim because I didn't bother to write it down. But it was a poem about a lover who had gotten jilted by her lover. She said at the end of the poem that when she first fell in love, she thought her lover was an angel but by the end of the breakup, she had confused the angel with him being a devil. I thought it was kind of funny. Anyhow please tell me about your poem if you have written one or if you've seen a good one recently..........Happy mylot!

Hi, Honestly i dont have any sense in poems. Though i like to read them. I have heard if you travel to beautuful and scenic places then poems comes naturlly to you. I dont know how true is that but from my personal experiance whenever iam in a good scenic place with lots of trees, flowers, brids etc available, I start singing. May be thats what gives us the inspiration. Cheers, Tutul

i miss this task. i used to love writing poems. i have my own compositions and i published some through school paper before. i write everyday and it's one way of expressing my thoughts since i don't like going out with friends before. i don't sit and chat with people so whenever i have something in my head, i write.

I enjoy writing poetry, but it's been quite a while since I have actually had the chance to sit down and write. It's a shame too because it is something that I really love. My favorite poem of my own that I've ever written was probably the last one that I wrote the day before my son was born. It was a poem written to my daughter on the dawning of her becoming a big sister. However, there was a time in my life when I wrote poetry nearly every single day. That really is a hobby that I should get involved in again. Thanks for reminding me of my love of poetry.
