there are 8 computers in the house.... I have 2 --one laptop and one regular PC..I use the PC for work (I work form home by the way)..and my laptop when I go out and wanna take work with me. My son has one (wired) My sister has 2 laptops--one is for her son. My bro and his wife has their own laptops plus a regular PC he uses for his gaming. we use the wored if w're home..it's faster i guess... but when we're out, laptop would always come in handy.....

USB mouses (or are they called mice if plural?) that I have are all wired. I dunno if there are wireless ones. My touchpad is pretty malfunctioning lately (hello, Dell) so I am using the mouse. The charger and the mouse are the only accessories I have "wired". However, here at the student apartment, our connections is wireless. It's pretty helpful especially if you don't want to clutter the floor with another wire and get very angry when someone trips over it and you're disconnected. At home (I am staying at an apartment near my University, which is miles away from home), we have a wired connection. Mom disapproves of it and I do not know why. She tripped over the cord tons of times and still does not want to go wireless. She'll just buy an antenna for the router. Ugh.

I have a laptop and a desktop PC. They are all wired. But as much as possible, I want to go wireless. Wires have become bulky and messy. On the other hand, becoming wireless is expensive. I'll do an upgrade if I have extra money.

Yup, I recommend upgrading to wireless as soon as possible. It will make your home and workplace look more clean and sharp. I can't stand messy things in my work area.. I will not be able to concentrate on my work.

I am wireless. I love the freedom of being able to take my computer anywhere in the house and even outside when I need to. Not being tied to a desk is great. And you can take it out with you and get internet on the go. I like to be able to go to a coffee shop and still be able to get somework done. It's more relaxing that way. And so many places have wireless access now that it really just makes sense.

My computer parts are all wired up and I like it that way. With wireless comes more complications, like charging and batteries. My Internet connection is the only wireless thing that I have attached to my computer.

I am definitely wireless.. I just bought a new netbook, so I'm wirelessly connected to our internet.. we have a router in our apartment, cause the 3 of us uses different computers to access the net. lol. anyway, I don't have a mouse yet, that I have yet to buy, cause I need a usb mouse... I like being wireless, cause I can surf the net in my bed, while I am laying there and my one eye on the tv. lol.

I think the best solution is to have at least one laptop, connected via wifi, for the mobility and light works; and a workstation wired, for the brute-power gaming or working. many of my accessories are sadly wired, because i bought them looking for the price (wireless price wired price) ;-)
